You are looking at a 1997 Ford Expedition.. This SUV has 86,333 miles on it, and still has life left in it. Please look at the pictures. This well maintained SUV runs good and is pleasant to drive. The exterior is in good shape, has a few cosmetic flaws, this is not a big deal, the green paint is beautiful and in tact on this .....See pictures...... drive it just like it is.. Overall this Expedition looks good. The tires are in good shape..... The underneath of the car has no visible leaks or major rust. Has some minor rust on the passenger side rear (it was bondo'd) and rear bumper .. see the pics.... All doors are fully functional. The spare tire looks new and the jack is present as well as the manuals. It handles perfect engine and transmission are very smooth.....
The interior is SUPER clean and comfortable, The seats are in great condition no holes, rips, tears or offensive odors....See pictures....All of the other options work fine including the power windows, seats, windows and keyless entry. The a/c blows cold and the heat works perfect!!!!!
The 4.6L V8 engine starts right up, has power and is very responsive, no service lights are on ...and doesn't smoke. The Automatic transmission shifts smoothly..... it will drive you home or wherever you need to drive. Ford adds 850 jobs to build 2015 F-150
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Pickup trucks tend not to advance at quite the same pace as the rest of the industry. That's what makes the new Ford F-150 so remarkable, jettisoning its old steel construction in favor of aluminum. It's a game changer that Ford is betting big on, and in anticipation of surging demand, the Blue Oval automaker is adding 850 new jobs to put the thing together.
Those 850 new employees will be centered at Ford's Rouge complex in Michigan - with 300 at Dearborn Stamping, 50 more at Dearborn Diversified and 500 at the Dearborn Truck facility, the latter of which has already kicked off what Ford describes as "the largest manufacturing transformation in decades." Old manufacturing equipment is being replaced with the latest technologies, and even the Ford Rouge Factory Tour is undergoing a complete overhaul.
The new jobs come as part of the commitments Ford made to the UAW in 2011 to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015 - a number which Ford has already exceeded at 14,000. Over 4,000 of those are centered in southeastern Michigan.
Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500.
