2005 Ford Excursion Limited with Warranty!
Here is your opportunity to own a very clean, two owner Powerstroke diesel Excursion with about 27 months and 65K miles of bumper to bumper (exclusionary) warranty. They don't make this truck anymore, and it's got to be one of the most versatile SUV's ever made.
This is a clean, good looking, well maintained truck. It has all Limited features including leather interior, heated seats, keyless entry, tow package, rear seat entertainment (DVD player) 6 CD loader, and many other great features. This Excursion has new tires (Michelin AT...less than 20 miles on them), new brakes (complete with rotors, less than 50 miles), and has all options except navigation, including a Tekonsha trailer brake controller.
The truck has had all scheduled maintenance, is overall in excellent condition, Looks & drives great, No accidents, Non-smoker.
The truck is very clean for an 8 year old vehicle, but keep in mind, it is 8 years old. There is some rust around the backup sensors on the rear bumper, a small nick in the trim on the right rear, the occasional miscellaneous scratch, and typical pitting on the front from road debris. The leather is in great shape for it's age. I'd be happy to send additional pictures...no excuses for this truck.
I've used the warranty company before, and they are very reliable and have fixed most things I've brought the vehicles in for. Buy with confidence knowing that they will cover many things that could go wrong. I've taken great care of this truck and put the new tires and brakes on it to be sure it's a great vehicle for it's next owner.

New 2020 Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator recalled for minor safety issues
Wed, Aug 7 2019Ford has announced a small recall on 2020 Explorers and 2020 Lincoln Aviators. Select units might be missing a manual park release cover, while others might have instrument clusters stuck in Factory Mode. The recall affects 14,135 SUVs in total. While a vehicle is in production in a manufacturing facility, Ford might put them in what is known as Factory Mode to help reduce battery drain. Affecting the instrument cluster, this mode disables warning alerts, warning chimes, and does not show the PRNDL gear selector display. Ford says one vehicle was in an accident at a production facility as a result of the issue, but nobody was injured. Separately, Ford found that some of these Explorers and Aviators might be lacking a manual park release cover. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards require a manual park release cover that is only removable with a tool. Without the cover, there is a very minor chance the manual park release could be accidentally actuated, which could allow the vehicle to move on its own. The recalls affect 13,896 vehicles in the U.S. and 239 in Canada. The Explorers were built between March 27, 2019, and July 24, 2019. The Aviators were built between April 10, 2019, and July 24, 2019. Owners can use Ford's recall number 19C06, and if affected, can take their vehicles in for fixes.
RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.
Reborn Ford Escort could make its way to Europe
Fri, 26 Apr 2013The Ford Escort concept just unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show was created with the Chinese market in mind, but it's got people talking all over the world. Not purely fancy, the point of the Escort concept was to give Chinese buyers a preview of what they could expect to see in a Ford showroom in the near future. If Ford wasn't seriously considering the new Escort for other countries, a report in Auto Express indicates that the concept's reception has changed all that.
No less than the incoming chairman of Ford UK said "it could work in other places," bolstering the comments of "a senior Ford insider" who said the question of bringing the car to Europe to slot in underneath the Focus had been raised. That's a long way from anything of the kind happening, which would require Ford to figure out how to sell it for the right price and not torpedo the company reputation among Euro buyers. In any case, we'd be as intrigued as anyone if an Escort resurrection created the next 'who knew?' market segment of few-frills transportation offered by non-Asian carmakers.
