Mechanically this truck runs strong. Motor sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts beautifully through all the gears. Drives well down the road. Steering and brakes feel good. Tires have about 60% tread left. A/C is ice cold. Seems to have been well maintained over the years. Has navigation and rear DVD. Also has an aftermarket sound system that sounds great.

Cosmetically it's in great shape as well. Paint shines beautifully in the sun. Body is nice and straight with maybe a door ding if you look close. Body and underneath is free of rust. It does have a little bubble where they drilled through the rear bumper to mount a rear camera. Interior is nice and clean. Seats, carpet and headliner all in great shape. Has a hardwood floor installed in the rear cargo area that looks like it could be removed if you didn't want it. Overall just a very clean Excursion all the way around.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock

Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales

Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.

There are two ways an automaker can test its vehicles in extreme climates: it can send said vehicle around the world – from Death Valley to the Arctic Circle Â– in search of the harshest weather, or it can recreate those conditions in an enclosed environment. We're sure that many automakers undertake some combination of both, but in this latest video clip, Ford shows us around inside it's state-of-the-art climate chamber. At its Driveability Test Facility in Allen Park, MI Â– inaugurated in 2010 just across the street from the Roush Technology Center Â– Ford can simulate all sorts of extreme conditions. It can drop the temperature down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit or raise it up to 130, and take it up to a simulated 12,000 feet above sea level or drop it down to 280 feet below. blast it with 150-mile-per-hour winds. It can control the level of humidity, approximate the intensity of the sun and even blast the test vehicle with artificial snow, just like your favorite ski resort. The facility strikes us as an engineering feat as impressive as some of the vehicles it's used to test, but don't take our word for it Â– scope it out for yourself in this brief two-minute video clip, which even includes some helpful tips for winter driving this holiday season and beyond.
