2004 Excursion Limited. Mineral gray in color with 2 tone tan/brown interior. It has the Quad seating, so buckets in the middle instead of the bench seating. It has the 6.0L V8 Powerstroke Diesel engine. Engine upgrades are a Quadzilla progammer,Synergy transmisson cooler, and Airaid Cold air intake. It has 182,000 miles, which is nothing on these engines. Take care of it, and it will easily get 400,000 to 500,000 miles. This is my daily driver, so mileage will change. The last road trip I took, I got 19.7 mpg with the cruise on 80. It gets good mileage for as big a vehicle as it is. Everything works as it should. Engine is strong. 4wd goes in and out flawlessly. DVD player works great, and I have 4 sets of wireless headphones that will be included. All service and fluids are up to date. Currently, the truck is about due an oil change, and I will have that taken care of before you pick it up. I will have the fuel filters changed as well.
The truck is 9 years old. It's not flawless, but in very nice shape for the age and miles. There are a couple of door dings, and normal scratches in the paint. I have included photos of those. There is a tear in the fabric on the back of the 3rd row seat, and a small section of tint on one of the rear windows was scratched off by my 5 year old. It is barely noticeable outside of the vehicle. One small hole in one of the middle seats. Wheels have been upgraded to a newer wheel from an F250. They are 20" chrome Ford factory wheels.
Any other questions, please feel free to send me a message on here, or call/text 270-705-0815. Located in Western KY. It is also for sale locally, so auction may end early.

Ford recalls Five Hundred, Mercury Montego sedans over fuel tank woes
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Ford has announced through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it is recalling nearly 3,000 examples of its Five Hundred and Mercury Montego (pictured) sedans from the 2007 model year.
The action, which affects 2,945 vehicles, is due to potentially defective welds between the filler neck and the fuel tank, a condition that could result in a fuel leak or the smell of gasoline reaching the occupants. In the worst-case scenario, a leak could cause a fire. Cars with the affected fuel tank problem could see an illuminated dashboard warning light as a result of the evaporative emissions leak being detected.
Ford will inspect and replace the fuel tank at no cost to owners (those who have already had the procedure done at-cost can apply for reimbursement), and the Dearborn automaker will begin notifying Five Hundred and Montego owners beginning August 15. Check out the official NHTSA press release after the jump for further details.
Ford patents a multi-touch version of its classic keypad
Fri, Sep 9 2016For decades, Ford has offered a keypad on the doors of their cars that would allow owners access with the right code. Amazingly, the keypad has survived almost unchanged except for a recent touch button version. A new patent from the Blue Oval shows the keypad may get a big upgrade soon. The first big change is that it looks like the keypad may move to the key fob. Although it might be possible to have it on the car itself as well, the patent only seems to focus on the key fob. In addition, the fob will now be a multi-touch pad similar to that of modern smartphones. This will allow for more diverse code entries, according to the patent's description. Instead of just a simple number code, owners could enter a code that involves swipes and keystrokes, and even simultaneous keystrokes. For instance, you could enter a code that requires swiping from 1 to 3, followed by holding 2 and 4 to unlock the car. The patent also seems to indicate that this keypad would then display unlock functions and other functions on the fob after the correct code is entered, thus making it more than just a way to unlock the car. As for the practical implications of this keypad system update, it could provide an added layer of security. If someone steals your keys, they would have to also know your access code to get into the car. Whether this would also help make the key and car harder to hack would remain to be seen, though. Another possible benefit could be the prevention of accidental lock and alarm button presses, although that likely isn't a common issue. There could be potential downsides as well. If used as an extra layer of security, the legitimate owner would have to punch in their code on the fob to get in, which would render proximity key benefits relatively useless. Moving the keypad to the fob would also mean owners couldn't get into their cars without having the key with them. We don't have any clues as to when this could become a feature, but it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement, so it could show up in the next few years. Lincoln trumpets $129M investment, 300 new jobs in Louisville for MKC
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Remember when we used to talk about how close Lincoln was to being axed and how it seemed any day now the Grim Reaper would use it as a car service back to the grave? Last time we did it was, oh, not even a month ago. What a difference 27 days makes: Ford and Lincoln are trumpeting a $129M investment in the Louisville Assembly Plant that builds the MKC.
In July the MKC was the third-best-selling Lincoln of the brand's six offerings, beat by the MKZ and - by a much smaller margin - the MKX. It has sold 2,895 units in the two months it's been on sale, which is more than half the year-to-date sales of the MKS, MKT and Navigator. It's already important, is what we're trying to say, and this is before the Chinese market gets a crack at it later this year.
The money headed to Kentucky will be joined by 300 new workers, another marker in Ford's march to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the US by next year. You can read more about it in the press release below.
