By those working at Fords' Kentucky Truck Plant, this truck was referred to as the "Black Beauty". This particular one is much more than that, with enough money in options alone to buy a new car. The most important thing to notice about this truck is the 7.3L Diesel Engine with just over 118,000 miles. It means this truck isn't broken in yet, and it's not junk. Without this engine, the truck is just a great looking money pit. You may not buy this truck, but don't turn it down for a 6.0L Diesel. Do your homework.
Where to begin... We'll start with the exterior. Obviously it's beautiful, but here is a list of installed items you won't see from the factory.:
10" Skyjacker suspension lift with Billstein shocks
4" Body Lift (Total lift capable of handling a 42"Super Swamper TSL tire, which is what I just took off)
Electronic-lowering running boards
New 2013 Bushwacker OE Fender Flares
New 7/2013 Road Armor Titan II Front bumper, with Warn 1200lb winch and synthetic rope, and 7 PIAA lights.
New 7/2013 Road Armor Titan Rear bumper with tire carrier and 2 PIAA lights
New 6/2013 20" Fuel Offroad Chrome Dune wheels (made to order grom Germany) with matching spare for the rear
New 6/2013 37x20x12.5R Nitto Trail Grappler tires with matching spare
New 4/2013 Superchips Flashpaq programmable chip
Airraid Cold Air Intake system with new filter installed 4/2013
4" exhaust
Now lets talk about the interior. The interior is in nice condition with no rips or tears in the seats. This truck also has the Quad captains chair seating option, which is rare, but nice because you are not always manually folding a seat back and forth to get to the back of the truck. This truck is also equiped with an ultralite guage cluster.
So what's wrong with the truck? It has a DVD system that the sound does not work on. I honestly just haven't made fixing that a priority.
Happy Bidding.
PS> Don't bid if you can't pick it up personally. A hauling company won't touch it due to its size.

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation
Sat, 09 Aug 2014
The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Weekly Recap: Toyota propels hydrogen fuel cells
Sat, Jan 10 2015Toyota is serious about hydrogen fuel cells, and it wants the auto industry to follow suit. The Japanese automaker said this week it's releasing 5,680 fuel cell patents from around the world, including technologies used on its upcoming sedan, the 2016 Mirai. The move is unusual, but not unprecedented, as Tesla similarly released its electric vehicle patents last year. The idea for Tesla, and now for Toyota, is to spur development of alternative propulsion. "By eliminating traditional corporate boundaries, we can speed the development of new technologies and move into the future of mobility more quickly, effectively and economically," said Bob Carter, Toyota Motor Sales senior vice president of automotive operations, in a statement. Toyota's fuel cell patents will be free to use through 2020, though patents related to producing and selling hydrogen will remain open forever. Toyota said it would like companies that use its patents to share their own hydrogen patents, but won't require it. "What Toyota's doing is really a logical move, and really a good move for the industry," Devin Lindsay, principal powertrain analyst with IHS Automotive, told Autoblog. The announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It comes as Toyota prepares to launch the hydrogen-powered Mirai in a limited number late this year in California. The launch will be extended to the Northeastern United States next year. Toyota also has announced plans to support networks of fueling stations in each region to try to smooth consumer adoption. The Mirai has a 300-mile range on a tank of hydrogen, and it takes about five minutes to refill. Fuel cells have been receiving increased attention recently, and Audi and Volkswagen debuted hydrogen-powered cars at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Honda, another proponent of the technology, also showed its updated FCV concept in November in Japan. The company, however, has delayed its fuel cell sedan a year until 2016. Like Toyota, Honda says its hydrogen-powered car will have a range of 300 miles or more. Meanwhile, Hyundai currently offers leases for fuel-cell powered Tucsons, which have a 265-mile range, in Southern California. Despite the optimism some automakers have for fuel cells, the technology still faces barriers. A lack of filling stations has long held it back, and many consumers are not familiar with the potential benefits.
Ford exec downplays idea of aluminum-intensive cars
Thu, Jan 15 2015Ford certainly made waves when it rolled out the all-new 2015 F-150 made primarily out of aluminum. But while trimming weight off its vehicles is a top priority for the Detroit automaker, we shouldn't expect the lightweight metal to be used as widely on passenger cars as it has been on its new pickup. Speaking at the Automotive News World Congress on Wednesday, top Ford exec Joe Hinrichs said that using aluminum in passenger cars isn't as beneficial as it is in trucks – primarily because the weight savings isn't as dramatic, or as deeply needed. Though improved fuel economy is certainly one advantage of aluminum construction in a truck like the F-150, low prices at the pump have prompted Ford to highlight another advantage, and that's capability: With less weight on its own, a lighter-weight truck can carry and tow more than a heavier one, because it all comes down to combined weight ratings. Ford is expected to make the new F-Series Super Duty largely out of aluminum for the same reasons, and we wouldn't be surprised to see the next Expedition use the material as well. But while certain components in Ford passenger cars will be made of aluminum, we shouldn't expect entire chassis and bodywork assemblies to use the material as extensively as on the F-150, or on more upscale passenger cars from the likes of Audi or Jaguar. Dearborn is, however, investing in other lightweight materials. It has a joint venture with Dow Chemical to put carbon fiber into mass production, much as BMW has with its i3. The Blue Oval will use a combination of carbon and aluminum on its 2017 GT supercar, and it has stripped weight by removing amenities from the 2016 Mustang GT350R, but apparently neither is a method Ford can practically apply to its volume models.
