Description 2002 FORD EXCURSION / 7.3L DIESEL / LIMITED EDITION / 4X4
You are viewing low millage 2000 Ford Excursion with a 7.3 Power stroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic transmission with only 209K on it (THE OWNER MY BROTHER IN LAW USED THIS FOR WORK AND THE MAJORITY OF THE MILES ARE HIGHWAY MILES CROSS COUNTRY FOR WORK). This Excursion has a lot of power AND IS THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER 7.3 POWER STROKE THE BULLETPROOF MOTOR. The excursion has recently had a new exhaust and new tires replaced as well as the ball joints and tie rod ends replaced and runs straight down the road with no issues. Also the brakes were recently gone through and replaced the pads. The power stroke motor sounds great and runs solid. (SEE VIDEO OF MOTOR RUNNING AND DRIVING) The transmission feels solid. This truck looks really good and has routine oil scheduled oil changes. This Ford Excursion comes with the LIMITED EDITION trim: LEATHER seats, power seat, dual A/C, climate controllers, 3rd row seat and much more. The exterior is BLACK and GOLD is good condition and shows signs of wear and scratches. There is peeling paint on the rear door tailgate. The drivers door is missing the lock cylinder and the latch has a crack. There is some rust that has started to take place under the rear doors of the main body (SEE PICS) this would be a relatively easy fix. There is a screw hole in the passenger side of the hood which I believe was from someone installing a bug deflector and ran a screw up through the hood. The front drivers seat has two tears in it. (SEE PICS). The interior is tan and also in great condition for the year. The windshield will need replaced as it has a crack in it from the center of the windshield to the drivers side( SEE PICS.) Watch this awesome R/C car chase scene made with cardboard and glue
Fri, 22 Feb 2013It never ceases to amaze us how much video production talent you can find on YouTube, especially when considering movies like Battleship actually exist on the silver screen. It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.

Ford Focus refresh shots leak ahead of Geneva
Sun, 23 Feb 2014In case you haven't been paying attention, Ford has been gradually redesigning its lineup to sport a familiar face. The Aston Martin-inspired grille shape debuted on the Fusion and was soon applied to the Fiesta. Even the front end of the new Mustang takes its cues from the same, and we're sure other models will soon be made-over to fall in line. The next on the docket? The Focus.
Set to be unveiled in little over a week at the Geneva Motor Show, the revised Focus has leaked out a tad early, revealing a mild facelift that bears that same trapezoidal grille with horizontal slats. Along with the new grille, the headlights, lower fascia and hood appear to have been reshaped. Around back there appears to be a new rear bumper and taillights, but otherwise the shape remains largely the same as the current model.
Expect the updates to be applied to all bodystyles offered around the world, including the hatchback, wagon and sedan. The engine lineup is expected to carry over largely unchanged, though the plug-in hybrid powertrain from the C-Max Energi could port over to the revised Focus. Plus Ford seems to have taken the opportunity to spruce things up in the cabin some. Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch
Tue, 16 Jul 2013A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.
