Description 2002 FORD EXCURSION / 7.3L DIESEL / LIMITED EDITION / 4X4
You are viewing low millage 2000 Ford Excursion with a 7.3 Power stroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic transmission with only 209K on it (THE OWNER MY BROTHER IN LAW USED THIS FOR WORK AND THE MAJORITY OF THE MILES ARE HIGHWAY MILES CROSS COUNTRY FOR WORK). This Excursion has a lot of power AND IS THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER 7.3 POWER STROKE THE BULLETPROOF MOTOR. The excursion has recently had a new exhaust and new tires replaced as well as the ball joints and tie rod ends replaced and runs straight down the road with no issues. Also the brakes were recently gone through and replaced the pads. The power stroke motor sounds great and runs solid. (SEE VIDEO OF MOTOR RUNNING AND DRIVING) The transmission feels solid. This truck looks really good and has routine oil scheduled oil changes. This Ford Excursion comes with the LIMITED EDITION trim: LEATHER seats, power seat, dual A/C, climate controllers, 3rd row seat and much more. The exterior is BLACK and GOLD is good condition and shows signs of wear and scratches. There is peeling paint on the rear door tailgate. The drivers door is missing the lock cylinder and the latch has a crack. There is some rust that has started to take place under the rear doors of the main body (SEE PICS) this would be a relatively easy fix. There is a screw hole in the passenger side of the hood which I believe was from someone installing a bug deflector and ran a screw up through the hood. The front drivers seat has two tears in it. (SEE PICS). The interior is tan and also in great condition for the year. The windshield will need replaced as it has a crack in it from the center of the windshield to the drivers side( SEE PICS.) 2013 Ford F-150 Limited
Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.

Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales
Wed, 10 Jul 2013Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.
Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]
Wed, Dec 3 2014Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings.
