Mechanically this truck is very solid. V10 motor sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts flawlessly through all the gears with no slipping or funny shifts. Steering is nice and tight. Drives down the road very well. Tires are wearing even and have about 60% tread left. Overall very solid and doesn't feel like the miles it has. Periodically the check engine light comes on with code P0174. Typically this is caused by a little vacuum hose that cracks but you can do your research as well. Just a very well cared for excursion that's ready to be driven anywhere.

Cosmetically it's in great shape for the miles. Body is nice and straight with just a door ding or two. Paint is absolutely beautiful and shines like new in the sun. Has your typical light scratch here and there. Wheels look like new with not a bit of corrosion on them. Interior is very clean. Leather and carpet is in good shape with just your typical wear on the driver and passenger seat. Smells good inside and wasn't smoked in. Has rear DVD.

Ford's Simple Suit Makes You Feel Like A Drunk Driver

We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. Over the last decade or so, competition in NASCAR has led to some pretty funky looking racecars. And when the sport was still up and coming, the tight competition actually led to some interesting production cars. The Dodge Charger Daytona and Plymouth Superbird are perhaps the most well-known cars of the sport's "aero wars" era but the Ford Torino King Cobra might have been the most memorable of all, if not for some different homologation rules established in 1970. The Torino King Cobra never made it to production and never competed in NASCAR, but three examples exist including this one now for sale on eBay.
Designed as a successor for the aero-tuned Torino Talladega, the Torino King Cobra has a sleeker front end with hidden headlights and a sloped nose. As the story goes, NASCAR made a rule change in 1970 requiring 3,000 of the vehicles to be produced, which was substantially more than the 500 units required by the previous rule. One of the three prototypes ever built - and the only one built with the Boss 429 engine - is now for sale on eBay with a starting bid of $500,000. With a little more than three days left on the auction there are still no bids, but in the grand scheme of things this seems like a relatively fair price for a rare piece of automobile and racing history.
