f you've been looking for a big vehicle to pull the boat to the water this summer and want to haul the whole family or maybe you've been looking for that perfect Excursion to do the Cummins swap but don't want to break the bank, then my very clean 2000 Excursion Limited 4x4 edition with 210k is for you.
Mechanically this truck is very solid. V10 motor sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts flawlessly through all the gears with no slipping or funny shifts. Steering is nice and tight. Drives down the road very well. Tires are wearing even and have about 60% tread left. Overall very solid and doesn't feel like the miles it has. Periodically the check engine light comes on with code P0174. Typically this is caused by a little vacuum hose that cracks but you can do your research as well. Just a very well cared for excursion that's ready to be driven anywhere. Cosmetically it's in great shape for the miles. Body is nice and straight with just a door ding or two. Paint is absolutely beautiful and shines like new in the sun. Has your typical light scratch here and there. Wheels look like new with not a bit of corrosion on them. Interior is very clean. Leather and carpet is in good shape with just your typical wear on the driver and passenger seat. Smells good inside and wasn't smoked in. Has rear DVD. Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Transit Courier completes Ford's new commercial van line, will we get it?
Sat, 13 Apr 2013This week Ford rolled out the 2014 Transit Courier, the fourth addition to its Transit range. Ford says its the first time for the nameplate in the compact van segment.
"Ford has now completely transformed its commercial vehicle line-up, with four all-new, class-leading Transits for European customers," said Barb Samardzich, vice president of product development for Ford Europe. "With the all-new Transit range, we expect sales to grow to 400,000 units per year by 2016, well over 50 percent more than we sell today."
When the Courier goes on sale in the Spring of 2014, it will offer more than 1,400 pounds of payload capacity, multiple mounting points for racks or other framework and a rear cargo area that can carry items 5.3 feet-long. An optional folding passenger seat boosts the cargo length to 8.5 feet.
