This was not my own personal vehicle. It was county owned and maintained prior to being damaged.

It has obvious BODY DAMAGE ALL OVER, but it RUNS & DRIVES.

It has a CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE. I can't give you any details on how it was damaged nor do I know what repairs are needed. All I can provide is photos and confirm that it does have a clean, clear Florida title - It isn't branded in any way.

It has been covered with a large tarp for several months, but the interior door trim was left exposed to the elements here in Florida. They are made of plastic and should be fine, but I wanted to point that out.

There are a few other body parts in an orange/yellow color that were off another county owned vehicle that are included. There is also a rear passenger door included in orange/yellow that isn't pictured.

I have started it monthly just to keep fluids moving and such.

Again, It has a non-branded CLEAR TITLE.

I will do my best to answer any questions you may have, but again I don't know what is required to repair this SUV or what happened to cause the damage.

NHTSA closes Ford F-Series Super Duty steering probe without recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's investigation into 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickups, which was originally opened last year, has now ended without a recall. NHTSA was looking into steering failures on some 336,000 trucks.
The issue rested with the steering gear - NHTSA received five complaints of failures - which was redesigned in 2005. According to the report on the matter, investigators "found evidence of broken sector shaft gear teeth and piston damage consistent with incidents of single event overload."
NHTSA investigators, however, "found no evidence of fatigue or material property defects in any of the fractures. Analysis of complaint rates by vehicle build month showed no patterns indicating potential manufacturing quality issues and no difference before and after Ford introduced design changes to the input shaft and sector shaft seals in July 2007 to address potential leak concerns," according to the report, obtained by The Detroit News.

Fiat boss Elkann being mentored by... Bill Ford?

Fiat Chairman John Elkann has been turning to an unusual source for advice on the car business. While speaking during an interview with The Detroit News, Elkann said he often asks Bill Ford Jr. for advice on how to proceed with the turnaround at Chrysler. "It's great to have the opportunity to share this with someone like Bill, who has experienced many things and gone through many things ... especially linked to Detroit." Elkann said.
As the Agnelli family heir, Elkann has inherited a long and fruitful friendship with the Ford family. While Giovanni Agnelli built his first Fiat four years before Henry Ford created his first vehicle, it was Ford that showed Agnelli the benefits of mass production and helped pave the way for what would become the Fiat empire.
Giovanni's grandson, Gianni, helped mentor Bill Ford when he was elected chairman of Ford Motor Company. Now, Ford is returning the favor by helping Elkann navigate the automotive industry's tumultuous waters.
