FORD 250 E SERIE, (Econoline) - (year) 2000 (color) silver and blue, light blue leather seats and automatic reclining rear bench. This van has brand new adaptive hand controls with a horizontal steering wheel and Gas/Brake controls made for a quadriplegic. Controls that can be moved easily out of the way so a non handicap person can drive the regular steering wheel switching the front seats on their EZ-Locks tie downs. Also, a rear tie-down setup for a wheelchair placement behind the front seats.
This van is in very nice condition, with only 40,000 miles.
Handicap Controls are AVEIT by E.M.C. HAND CONTROL, 0 EFFORT, POWER DOORS, POWER LIFT, control system is brand new, only used twice for about 50 miles.
The new control system was installed in 2011 at MobilityWorks in Akron, Ohio. This van was converted for a tall quadriplegic with a 7 inch dropped floor and no raised roof so it can go into a garage. A Braum wheelchair lift that closes underneath the van!
Remote for automatic doors, those doors have two controls inside as well, plus a magnet control to open and close from the right rear tail-light.
Also, trickle charge is connected to the battery for easy wall plugin if you don't drive much.
CD-cassette Radio and extra 10 CD player.

THERE is no visable rust, never had work on the transmission. It was converted at Tri-State in Canton and serviced over the years at MobilityWorks in Akron, they also put in the newer E.M.C. controls.
Nothing needs to be fixed! I just put $3,800.00 on a new 25 gallon gas tank, brake pads, ball joints, rear springs, fuel filter, oil and lube. {extra key yes}

Mercury rises around sexy Cougar pack

With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Since starting his Cougar collecting in 1988, Brown has become an absolute expert on the model, and he claims to have owned 400 of the Mercury pony cars in that time. When the 2015 Ford Mustang hits dealers, it will be with a new batch of features that will power up Sync's 911 Assist feature, and provide an even greater degree of information to first responders in the event of an accident.
911 Assist will already make a phone call, via a Bluetooth-connected phone, should you bin your car. The automatic message to first responders is a pre-recorded blurb from Ford. With the new enhancements, though, emergency personnel can learn about the maximum change in velocity and whether the crash involved a front, rear, side or a rollover impact. 911 Assist will also send information about how many seat belts were in use and if airbags deployed, allowing more accurate dispatch of resources.
"Sync will only broadcast relevant information to save time, and it constructs a very efficient message for the operator," said David Hatton, the global project leader with Ford Connected Services. "After the introductory message, the voice line opens automatically and occupants can speak directly with the operator via Sync's hands-free functionality."
