This van was used previously by an ambulette company. It was well maintained as required by law. They always changed brakes and oil and all required maintainance. I also have changed oil, tune up, replaced transmission 8 months ago. New front and rear brakes 6 months ago. A/c will need a recharge but definately works. Heat is fine as well. Rear a/c and heat on a seperate thermostat. This van has a fold in metal ramp that takes up no extra space. The seats are in place as well or can be removed for extra space. New alternator 3 months ago. Tires all have 80% tread and meaty. Starts and goes. I use it daily and can't afford to have it break down on me as I am a salesman and I travel all day with the van. I am purchasing a Sprinter as I need even more room in the van. Has a few scratches and a few dents as expected with a van but It runs great and is totally reliable. Just changed oil and Brand new inspection. Passes on it's own. No smoking or putting, everyday driver. Start it up and get to work. call adam to check out or for any questions. Car is located in brooklyn, ny and I use it daily. 917-292-7177. has am/fm radio and speakers are loud. rear doors open just need to pull a little hard, slight adjustment needed on handle. Brand new heavy duty battery. Has 2 side doors as well for side loading. Great for wholesaler. Holds up to 3 pallets of merchandise bc of the height of the roof. Also can be used as an ambulette since it has low mileage. Side doors have a long metal step outside the van to ease your entry to and from the van.

Did a US automaker blow the whistle on Hyundai, Kia fuel economy issue?
Mon, 17 Dec 2012In all of the most hotly contested mainstream segments of the motoring universe, the difference of one mile per gallon averaged on a widow sticker can mean the difference between a sale and a walk-off - to say nothing of two or three mpg. So, when Hyundai and Kia were forced to reveal that many of their 40-mpg ratings were actually 38s and 37s, well, it made for big news.
It also, conceivably, made for a competitive disadvantage immediately, when the Korean automakers' products were being shopped versus the guys down the block. And it's that disadvantage that makes a recent story from Automotive News so juicy.
AN is reporting that Margo Oge, former head of the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, got a tip in 2010 that Hyundai/Kia were "cheating" to get its impressive fuel economy numbers. The tip, said Oge (who retired from the EPA this past September), came from a senior vice president from a domestic automaker. The source was credible enough for Oge to launch an audit of the Hyundai figures, which ultimately lead to the debacle that we reported on a few months ago, and that the Korean company has been trying to bounce back from ever since.
Ford will build Hackmobile out of Transit Connect Wagon
Fri, 27 Dec 2013What you see in the above image is a rendering of the Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon. What is that? It's a "mobile fabrication and hacking unit" that includes tools for metal- and woodworking, 3D and electronics fabrication, a three-axis CNC machine called "The Fabber," a video projector and screen, an air compressor, an 84x48-inch work surface that folds out like a Murphy bed and oh so much more. When not in use, all of the implements fold neatly into the back of Ford's award-winning van.
But perhaps the more important question is why is that? Because Make Magazine held an Ultimate Maker Vehicle Challenge in conjunction with Ford in which ten teams created were charged with creating "the ultimate Ford Transit Connect Wagon for the do-it-yourself enthusiast." Team Twin Cities Maker won the competition with the Hackmobile, and in addition to winning $10,000, Ford has declared it's actually going to build the thing - which is great, because if they can actually engineer a road-legal Hackmobile Transit Connect Wagon as envisioned, the inevitable A-Team movie reboot might need to think about including it.
Check out the video below for a cheeky walk-through of the Hackmobile, and get all the particulars in the press release below that.
Ford Fiesta ST GRC Racecar is hungry for podiums in 2013
Thu, 07 Feb 2013As we reported earlier, the Chicago showing of this plucky Ford Fiesta ST GRC racer points to bigger and brighter days for Global RallyCross. For the upcoming season, you can expect to see Ken Block and Tanner Foust both driving the Ford racecar, and if last season's results are any indication, you can anticipate quite a few podium appearances, as well.
The Fiesta seen here was built by the Swedes at OlsbergsMSE, and will be driven in anger by Foust in 2013. Modifications are, as you'd expect, extensive, and include an engine, exhaust and braking upgrades, a racing style short-throw shifter and a limited-slip differential. As you can see, the car has been fully stripped out and caged for maximum speed and safety, too.
Refresh your memories with the details of the car, in the press releases below. And if you head out to the Chicago Auto Show this year, don't forget to drop by the Ford stand to have a look.
