Van has not been used for over a year now / I no longer need it

Van in need of new battery cable / battery was working fine a year ago but can’t guarantee that you can jump it now as it been over a year for the van not working

I had patched the muffler about 2 years ago / has cracked windshield and replaced back window has crack / has 2 extra back lights in the cargo area connected to a switch and to the cigarette lighter

Gas tank was leaking when you fill it all the way up to the top / you can see if this van is part of the recall by calling the ford company with the VIN number and see if they will replace gas tank for you / over a year ago I placed the wrong fluid in the steering fluid section so van steering stopped from turning left or right / very hard to turn / not drivable as steering wouldn’t turn so you must tow it away and repair it somewhere else / you cannot try to fix it in front of our place / Van is sold in as is condition and buyer is responsible for all repairs towing taxes plate etc… / if buyer wish to see and inspect the van must do it before bidding only please contact me with your phone number and maximum price you are willing to pay so I can call you for an appointment / I will only show the van to buyer who is willing to pay more than the minimum price that I am willing to accept as there is no reason to waste both of our time seeing a vehicle that seller will not sell at a lower price  of $1499.99 / van got a radio and tape player / the CD player part is not working / by bidding buyer know they are bidding on an eBay national listing auction and buyer is interring a legal contract to buy this item for the bidding price and / if buyer is from the state of Michigan then buyer must pay for it in full with cash only on pick up or with PayPal within 48 hours / no other payment will be accepted and agree to go with the seller to the security of state to change titles and pay full taxes do before getting the title, vehicle and keys / van might have to be insured by buyer before doing so / if buyer from out of state buyer must pay only in cash or cashier check and wait 30 days for check to clear before picking up no other payment will be accepted and buyer is responsible for picking up the van and buyer must register van in his or her name within 15 days and pay full taxes on purchase price to the state, failure to do so buyer agree to pay seller an additional $5000.00 in fees for not registering the vehicle on time and any lawsuit happens will be in the state of Michigan or any state of seller choice

Car truck or cargo van vehicle / the seller has the right to change any info at any time before the end of the auction / seller have the right not to sell it to any buyer including buyers with zero feedback etc… van might be slightly tilted to the left side do to heavy equipment was on that side for so many years but been like that for about 5 years now / no problem driving it like this as I drove it this way for 4 years and drove perfectly / seller will expect a copy of your driver license from the front and back to keep for our record and buyer must sign all legal document for the sale to take place

I am not trying to be difficult but I had problem with one car I sold years back because buyer did not register the car so am not going through that again

The fascinating forgotten civil defense history of Mister Softee trucks

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

Hemmings came across an interesting article from the Throwin' Wrenches blog about the intersection of ice cream, cars and civic duty in America's late 1950s. In particular, it focuses on the Mister Softee trucks, which criss-crossed neighborhoods of the eastern US serving ice cream. Looking past the ultra-durable vehicles used - heavy-duty Ford-based chassis, for what it's worth - the article delves into some deeper national-security territory.
See, Mister Softee truck owners were voluntary members of the Civil Defense, thanks to all the useful stuff (potable water, generators, freezers and fridges) that the machines carried with them for serving ice cream. Click over to Throwin' Wrenches for the full run down of how Mister Softee would have stepped in to help fight if the Cold War ever turned a little hotter.

Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent

Mon, Dec 11 2017

Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
