Reynoldsburg, Ohio, United States

You are bidding on this really amazing and reliable E-Series 3500 15 passenger Van. This Van is it. Its clean, fairly new, but not necessarily in mint condition cosmetically. The reason I say this van is it, is because that is the formula it takes to get a great deal. This is the van that will become one of the best investment you will ever make. The fact that this is a 2006 and only has 100K miles means you can spend over 12 thousand dollars; however this E series has a few imperfections. a small ding here (pictured), some stains on the carpet there(pictured), and I am the one selling it. I am a private owner. I used this van to transport my little girls and their team to all their games. My uncle owns his own dealership, so you get the best of both worlds here. The buyer protection from a dealership, and get 30 day tags if you want, and the knowledge this van was well taken care of. Most importantly, every single thing on this van is in perfect working order. I will put that in a contract. I will gladly give a 90 day warranty on the engine and transmission. I can also tell you every knob, switch, button, works. The tires are less than 1 month old. The breaks have most of their life in them. The oil, transmission fluid, break fluid... etc etc etc has been maintained and maintained on time. I have documents of that. The air conditioning is ice cold. Please feel free to fly in from anywhere in the country and drive this thing back. I would even be willing to deliver the van if you are within 500 miles of Columbus Ohio. This is how much I enjoy driving this thing (obviously I would ask you to pay for gas and throw me a little bit for the trouble. This thing is the extended version, so on top of the ability to throw an entire team and parents and all the bags and luggage, it is really spacious, comfortable and a smooth powerful drive.THIS SPECIFIC MODEL ALSO HAS THE STABILITRAC OPTION, meaning it drives like a car. I would like to mention, a very kind gentleman came to inspect he Van, he stated he has owned these exact vehicles in the past, and really liked it. However he pointed out to me something I didn't know. Next to the missing handle where the arm rest should be, there is one seatbelt that is missing?  Honestly, I don't know how to explain this van any more to you. This thing is really a treat to own. really reliable and will last you years. As long as you are not expecting perfection, this is your van. She is 7 out of 10 on the inside and 81/2 out of ten on the outside and you can get a great deal please feel free to call, text or email me any questionsSam614-271-0330

Woman trades 1914 Model T in for 2013 Corvette

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

We're sure that dealers must see all sorts of interesting trade ins, but this one may take the cake. Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had a customer come in with an odd request. Tina Boyter wanted to trade in three vehicles on a brand-new 2013 Chevy Corvette. Among the hardware was 1980 Corvette, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1914 Ford Model T. While the '80 Corvette had been her personal car for years, the '78 Eldorado had belonged to Boyter's mother before she traded up to a Lincoln. The big Caddy had just 10,290 miles on the clock when it was traded in.
And the Model T? Boyter says the car was built as a racer by Ford, and that it had been a show winner for years when it belonged to her father. But, after spending the last 16 years in a museum with its fluids drained, Boyter decided it was time to shed some of the past. She walked into the dealer, laid eyes on a white 2LT Corvette with a red interior and offered to trade all three of the vehicles in on the sports car.
Why not wait for the C7? "I fell in love with that one when I walked in the door," She said. We can't fault her there.

70% of pickups could use aluminum by 2025

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

In the next decade, the auto industry will see an explosion in its use of aluminum to cut weight and increase fuel economy, according to a study from market analysts Ducker Worldwide cited by The Detroit News. We are already seeing the lightweight metal show up extensively in luxury models from Europe, but with the impending launch of aluminum-intensive 2015 Ford F-150 (pictured above), North America is using it even more, as well. The report predicts 70 percent of US pickups to have aluminum bodies by 2025.
It won't just be pickups that see the benefit, though. The average amount of aluminum in US vehicles is forecasted by the study to grow from an average of 350 pounds in 2013 to about 550 pounds by 2025. The most common parts to use it will be hoods, doors and - to some extent - roofs, as well.
The massive increase in pickups' aluminum content hardly seems surprising. The F-150 is predicted to use so much that it might cause a short-term shortage, according to one earlier report. At the same time General Motors is heavily rumored to be negotiating with suppliers for the next generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Ram is the last holdout of the Big Three, but the study predicts that not to last.

Shelby GT500 and Roush Stage 3 go head to head at the drag strip

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

The Ford Mustang is a brilliantly affordable source of horsepower, with a base 300-plus-horsepower version available for well under $30,000. Jumping up to about $35,000 will get you a solid 420 horsepower from a high-revving V8, while those with some extra disposable income can get a pair of 600-plus-horsepower monsters. Both the Roush Stage 3 with its Phase 3 package and Ford's factory Shelby GT500 even crest the 650-horsepower mark, with 675 and 662 ponies, respectively.
Naturally, someone needed to find out which of these hi-po Mustangs was the quickest. And while this video is quite obviously a dealership commercial, at least there's some solid drag racing between two of the most powerful performance machines available for under $100,000.
With two NHRA drag racers at the wheel, the Stage 3 and GT500 go head to head for three races. Scroll down below to see the results in the full video.
