2006 Ford E350 6.0l Powerstroke Diesel Quigley 4x4 15 Passanger Van on 2040-cars
Kane, Pennsylvania, United States
2006 Quigley 4x4 I bought this van as a project and have realized I have way to many projects so some have got to go!!!!! this van has been gone through mechanically by me which I am a senior master Ford tech and work on diesels everyday. the engine has had new headgaskets with ARP studs and two new heads, new turbo, new oil cooler, new high pressure oil pump, dummy plugs and stand pipes, egr delete, 4" exhaust, 6 gauges to monitor the engine, SCT tunner, trans flushed, new frt brakes and calipers, new frt hubs, five new wheels and tires, I custom built the frt bumper which holds a Warn M12000 winch. the inside has seating for 15 passengers and the seats are gray cloth which are very clean. I modified the first row seat brakets so it can be turned around facing back and have a second set of seat brackets I intended to build a table on to put in place of the second row so the 1st and 3rd row could be facing each other with a table in-between. I will include the extra parts I have with the sale. I have a set of composite headlights so the old dim sealed beams can get thrown away, the seat brackets, front and rear chrome bumper, factory tinted glass since this was not tinted and someone did film on it, a driver side front fender since this one needs replaced. it is a oem fender already painted white, I am sure I am forgetting something but I would not be afraid to drive this thing anywhere. it also has 4:10 gears in it. feel free to ask any ?s you may have. I am posting the pics I have but if you want anything specific please ask and I can email or txt them to you. feel free to txt 814-598-2612 or email through ebay |

New car market raining on convertibles' parade
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Whether fitted with soft or hard folding lids, today's droptops are better than ever for year-round motoring. Advancements in power top mechanisms, sealing, aerodynamics, structural rigidity, rollover safety and creature comforts like heated and cooled seats mean that modern convertibles are more versatile and better to drive than ever before. Yet the segment's sales took a dive during the recession and haven't come back, Automotive News reports.
Part of that is because automakers are looking at today's more sensible buyers and simply not developing as many new models, and that lack of fresh iron is curbing sales. AN cites R.L. Polk data which notes that only about one percent of new vehicles registered in the US last year had tops that folded. Back in 2009, it was 1.4 percent, and it was 2 percent in 2006. All-in, some 151,636 convertibles were registered in 2012. That's more units more than were registered in each of the past three years, but the market has also grown as the economy has picked up speed, and as a percentage of new vehicles purchased, convertible sales are lagging.
Thus far in 2013, the Ford Mustang is America's top-selling convertible, with 6,421 units registered through the end of April, followed by its rival, the Chevrolet Camaro, at 4,751 units. The Volkswagen Beetle isn't far behind, with 4,305, but from that point, it's a steep drop off to the fourth-place Mercedes-Benz SL-Class and its 2,380 sales.
Tanner Foust gets eponymous hotted-up Ford Focus ST from Cobb Tuning
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Racer and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust has partnered up with Cobb Tuning to create a special-edition Ford Focus ST. The limited-edition hatches will come packing a reflashed ECU, special intercooler, tweaked intake and freer-flowing exhaust for up to 20 percent more power than the stock creation. Cobb says that the changes should push the final dyno figure to above 300 horsepower. Buyers can also expect to find special carbon fiber aerodynamic bits on board along with a new grille, graphics and wheels. Cobb hasn't released pricing on this Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus ST as of yet, but you can bet the whole kit won't be cheap.
Fortunately, the company will sell you bits and pieces from the overall package for your Ford, and word has it engineers are also whipping up a Foust Fiesta ST. Look for Cobb's Focus ST website to go live next month, complete with accurate specs and pricing. Until then, enjoy clicking through the gallery here. Ford F-450 claims best-in-class towing, company abandons practice of removing items to boost payload number
Tue, 02 Sep 2014The ongoing heavy-duty truck battle between Ford and Ram is showing no signs of slowing down. The Blue Oval is trying to remove at least one point of contention between the two brands by testing its 2015 F-450 Super Duty using the Society of Automotive Engineers J2807 towing standard, which Ram also uses. In the new evaluation, the F-450 is rated at a max towing capacity of 31,200 pounds. That's an identical amount as under Ford's own, previous test.
"We leave no doubt with customers that the F-450 pickup truck has best-in-class towing of 31,200 pounds - whether tested using our own internal towing standards or SAE J2807," said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president for Global Product Development, in the company's release.
At the same time, Ford is also changing how it calculates the F-450's payload. Instead of using its minimum curb weight as before, the brand is now using the truck's base curb weight. The revision lowers the pickup's rating to 5,300 pounds, compared to 5,450 pounds previously. The company said in its announcement that the reason for this is "aligning its payload rating practices with other manufacturers to make it easier for customers to compare vehicles." General Motors made a similar switch for its pickups in August.
