IT HAS NAVTRACK NAVIGATION INSTALLED SO THE EMPLOYEES COULD BE MONITORED AT ALL TIMES. YOU CAN AQUIRE AN ACCOUNT WITH NAVTRACK AND MONITOR IT AS YOURSELF. IT HAS 206,000 HIGHWAY MILES BUT RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE NEW. I WOULD GET IN IT AND GO ANYWHERE. THERE ARE 300 LED LIGHTS IN THE REAR SO SEEING AT NIGHT IN THE REAR CARGO AREA ISN'T A PROBLEM. THERE ARE TWO BRAND NEW TIRES ON THE FRONT AND THE REAR HAVE 50% TREAD LEFT ON THEM. THE PICTURES OF THE REAR WERE TAKEN AT NIGHT SO YOU CAN SEE HOW EASY IT IS TO SEE WITH THE LED'S. Ford lowers MPG ratings on six vehicles
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Ford has announced that it will be lowering the fuel economy ratings on a number of its 2013 and 2014 model year vehicles after an error was discovered in the company's internal testing data. The EPA has been notified.
Worryingly for Ford, the vast majority of the vehicles affected are hybrids, including the C-Max, Fusion and MKZ in both hybrid and plug-in varieties (where applicable). Also covered as part of the rerating is the entire lineup of 2014 Fiesta engines, with the exception of the ST, including the turbocharged, three-cylinder EcoBoost.
The C-Max was originally rated at 47/47/47 mpg, but dropped to 43/45/40 last year and now to 40/42/37.
Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards
Fri, 18 Jan 2013This year's annual Eyes on Design awards were presented at the end of press days for the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday. Given out for the best production and concept car designs that debuted at the show, and voted on by an esteemed panel of actual car designers, this year's award for best production vehicle design went to the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, which was the show favorite among Autoblog editors, apparently did not impress the Eyes on Design judges enough with its all-new vent-festooned design.
The award for best concept design was actually split as a tie among the Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas concepts. Last year's winners were the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept.
The Eyes on Design organization also presented a new honor this year called the Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense of design in his acceptance speech, arguing that advancements in quality across the industry as a whole have made good design a key differentiator for buyers.
