FORD E-350 XLT SUPER DUTY VAN
15 PASSENGER
95,750 miles

These vans consistently complete 250,000 miles if well maintained, as this one has been. Nice features include:
  • Sliding side door
  • Tinted privacy glass windows
  • Air conditioning, with rear vents and separate rear control
  • Cruise control
  • Driver's side has power seat with lumbar support
  • Anti-lock brakes
  • Seats 15 passengers
  • Chrome bumpers, grille & headlights
  • Interval wipers
  • Power locks, mirrors, and windows
  • Quick release bench seats for easy removal
  • Tilt steering wheel
  • Driver/passenger air bags
  • Powerful 6.8 L V10 engine
  • Running boards
  • Smoke free
This van has a clean title. I am the second owner of this van. It has been well maintained with faithful oil changes and maintenance records for the past 7 years. The engine and transmission are running well. The only reason we are selling this van is because we have moved to a place where we need 4 wheel drive. All of the tires have good tread and have been recently replaced. Recent maintenance includes allignment, new serpentine belt, and fairly new alternator/battery.

The interior is in good condition with 2 captains seats and 4 bench seats. The first passenger seat is imperfect with a missing armrest and one broken seatbelt (It is functional but held in with a screw). The 3rd passenger seats has small tears on the back as shown in a photo. The front seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The air conditioning is cold in front and back. The drivers side power window does not work. The power locks do not control the sliding door lock. The AM/FM stereo has great sound, but the CD player does not work because 2 CDs are stuck in it. Tinted windows and sliding door make the van nice for transporting groups of people. The van has always been smoke free.

The exterior is in good condition and rust free. The drivers side door needs a touch up and a gloss coat to make it shine again.

Feel free to ask any further questions.

Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.
Take a look below for a few video snippets of Rowe's tenure at Ford.

Chip Ganassi Racing switches to the Ford EcoBoost-powered Riley Daytona Prototype

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced yesterday at Ford's SEMA press conference that it will field a Ford-Riley Daytona Prototype with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 in the 2014 United SportsCar Championship (USCC). CGRFS is the second team to commit to the new Ford-Riley car, behind Michael Shank Racing (which has already used the racecar to break a 26-year-old top-speed record at Daytona International Speedway).
"Over the last 10 seasons we have been able to experience a great deal of success in Grand-Am," Chip Ganassi says, "and now with the dawn of the new United SportsCar Championship we feel that Ford power will be a key ingredient to writing the next chapter of our sports car program."
In the last Grand-Am season, CGRFS raced a BMW-Riley Daytona Prototype. The team has won seven Daytona Prototype championships, all in the past ten years. Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas return as the team's prototype co-drivers, and will attend their maiden race in the Ford-Riley at the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January.

American automakers fall in latest Fortune 500 rankings

Fri, 10 May 2013

Not that it means anything beyond bragging rights, but if you're fixated on the positions of domestic automakers on the annual Fortune 500 list, both General Motors and Ford are still on it but they've slipped a couple of notches. The list ranks American companies and they're ordered solely by revenue. GM, fifth last year, came in seventh, while Ford fell from ninth to tenth even though both companies saw small gains in annual revenue.
GM's $152.3 billion in revenue was less than a third of that of the first company on the list: Wal-Mart, which regained the title from Exxon Mobil. Berkshire Hathaway and Apple are the firms that moved GM down. Ford, displaced by energy company Valero, had $134.3 billion in revenue.
On a side note, profitability isn't a factor, but both GM and Ford were down in this year's list compared to last year's: GM declined from $9.2 billion to $6.2 billion, Ford fell from $20.2 billion to $5.6 billion. If profits were included, Exxon Mobil would probably still be king: although the energy company made almost $20 billion less in revenue than Wal-Mart's $469.2 billion, it posted $44.9 billion in profit compared to Wal-Mart's $17 billion.
