Quality Pre-Owned Vehicles That Are Fun To Buy!

Thank you for considering my vehicle! My name is Ed Zarick and I have been a licensed and bonded, independent auto dealer for over 23 years here in Florida. For over the past 12 years, I have sold literally hundreds of quality cars and trucks at great prices here on eBay Motors and will continue to do so for years to come. Don't let the low price make you think something's wrong! I work by myself and I can afford to sell for considerably less than the car lots do. This is no part-time endeavor for me! It's what I do to support my family! In order for me to stay competetive in a crowded market place, I have to work harder then the other guy to earn your business and that is what I do. You will always get 100% personalized service to be sure your experience is a good one. Never any extra "dealer fees", just a simple and honest, no-nonsense approach that is easy to deal with. I want to earn your business now and in the future! Just check my feedback, it speaks volumes!

All my offerings are put through a service/safety check and road test to be sure they are safe and road worthy. I make sure the oil has been changed and do an inspection of the brakes, belts, hoses, cooling system, fluid levels, etc. Of course, every vehicle will ride and drive with the engine and transmission performing as expected. If you would prefer to have a third party inspect the car before bidding, I am most willing to help you facilitate that. I know of several shops in town that will deal with you directly or you are welcome to locate one on your own. Either way, I will deliver the car there for you and pick it up after inspection for no extra charge. Of course, the shop would charge a nominal fee and would bill you directly, but I will even reimburse your inspection charges if you end up buying the vehicle!!!

I know it can be hard to buy a vehicle that you can't see in person, so I will do my best to present it as well as I possibly can through pictures and accurate description. What you will get from me is an honest, down to earth presentation with any notable cosmetic issues disclosed. What you won't get is a flowery, over exaggerated sales pitch that makes a car seem better than new or bigger than life! Check my feedback and you will see what other happy customers have to say. That's my best advertisement! If you have ANY questions at all, please feel free to call me on my mobile phone @ 239-940-4170. I am more than willing to to address any concerns you may have about the vehicle, the price, finalizing the deal, taking possession or any other details. If there is ANYTHING at all I can do to help you make your decision, please just let me know!! I want to be better than the "other guys"!

Well, on to the vehicle! Just so you know, whether you decide to fly in and drive home or have the vehicle shipped, I will assist you any way I can on this end by setting up the transport or meeting with you at a mutual convenient time. I am very easy to work with!!! Please be sure to read the bidding/buying guidelines at the bottom of the page, they are very important. I thank you in advance for your business and your trust in me!

MY $500.00 GUARANTEE
When you arrive to pick up your vehicle and if it's not what I described, I will refund your deposit and give you $500.00 for your time. Also if you have the vehicle shipped to you and it is not what I described, I will refund your purchase price + $500.00 for your inconvenience. I want you to be confident in my description so that you can bid without worry.

*does not apply to immaterial or minor imperfections, just the important aspects of the vehicle only. Any damages incurred during transportation and shipping are covered by the transporters or the customers insurance and are not applicable to my guarantee. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges to receive and to return vehicle to Ft. Myers and the purchase price will be refunded when I receive the vehicle in the same condition as when delivered. Customer must contact me within 24 hours of receipt of vehicle.

FLORIDA ONE OWNER! 7.3 TURBO DIESEL! REAR AIR! PRISONER TRANSPORT SPECIAL! GREAT MILES!

Now here is something a little different! A 2003 Ford E350 XL Extended Chassis Prisoner Transport van with the very desirable 7.3 liter turbo diesel engine and just 104,500 miles! Automatic transmission, front and rear cold air, good tires and all the secure cages. Of course, you don't have to use it for moving around the bad guys, this would be great for your expensive tools and equipment that needs to be extra secure. This is a one owner, Florida van, owned by a corrections corporation and I was fortunate to get it. Of course, the ride and drive is excellent with a strong engine, tight suspension and smooth shifting transmission. And with my service/safety check done which included the oil/filter change and fuel filters, it's ready for any road trip or daily duty! It does have that nice and tight feel of quality and the condition speaks of a well cared for vehicle, so you can look forward to a lot more life out of this one. Plus, it comes with a certified AutoCheck report so you can purchase with peace of mind!

Anyway, be sure to look over the bidding/buying guidelines, features, options and the pictures below with descriptions. This will give you an excellent overview to help with your decision. I want you to be completely comfortable with your transaction and enjoy the whole experience!

Exterior

Paint is still nice and shiny and it looks real nice. There are a few dents that I will point out in the rest of the pictures. Front tires are new LT245/75R16 BF Goodrich Commercial T/A's and the rears are older, but good tread LT245/75R16 Firestone Transforce HT's.

Small dents on the pillars, both sides of the rear windows.

Good size dents on the right rear door and quarter panel. Doors operate just fine with no issues.

Extended chassis!!

All the compartments lock up VERY securely! The padlocks are there, but I do not have the keys.

The interior is still in very nice condition. One small tear in the drivers seat, some scratches around the console and the power mirrors are not working. The air does blow ice cold and there is a rear unit for the folks in the back. I guess they need to be comfortable on their way to jail!

The radio is not working as the face plate is broken.

Great Miles! Especially for the 7.3 liter turbo diesel! They run a LONG LONG time!

Got to love our Florida vehicles!

With all that is offered here, my buy it now price should make a lot of sense! Take advantage of a quick purchase with no chance of losing it to someone else or I would consider a close offer.  It is sold this way so you know what the price is, honestly offered with no games! I do advertise many of my vehicles locally, but if it is still listed here, it's still for sale!

Please don't let the fear of buying sight unseen keep you from getting something you want. With my $500.00 guarantee, you have basically no risk buying online. Just give me a call on my cell @ 239-940-4170 and we can talk about anything you need to know!

Well, that's my vehicle! You can always bid with confidence on any of my offerings as I strive very hard to offer quality along with an honest description. My cell number is 239-940-4170 and I have it on Monday through Saturday from morning until late at night. Bidding/Buying Policies

  1. The advertised vehicle will be described as accurately as I can, but remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such. As stated before, each offering is checked over before selling, but you are not bidding on brand new cars, so there may be parts of the vehicle that are not new. Depending on the age of the vehicle, the various systems involved will be at different levels of wear/service life and there may be the typical tiny chips/dings, blems and other signs of normal wear, inside and out, that you would expect on used vehicles. I am sure this is obvious to most people. I will do my best to describe all the apparent and obvious things so you are clear on what you are buying, but I encourage you to call with any questions you may have before bidding. I want you to be well informed! You can always get ahold of me on my cell @ 239-940-4170. I will be more than glad to walk around the car while on the phone and describe everything I see to give you a hands on view. PLEASE READ MY FEEDBACK! It speaks volumes of how I do business! Of course, all vehicles are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied unless there is any remaining factory warranty. Cars are mechanical things and mechanical things can stop working! Especially electrical components. Like a light bulb, they can work perfectly, than all of a sudden, not! I am not responsible for check engine, service or other indicator lights or what ever else may stop working after you purchase. I have made all my history statements based on information readily available to me and cannot warrant or guarantee the information or statements as such. Also, there may or may not be extra keys, manuals, remote fobs or other accessories. If not pictured, it's probably not there.
  2. I ask that all successful bidders please contact me within 24 hours of auction end to begin process of completing the sale.
  3. Customer is responsible to obtain their own insurance on any vehicle purchased. Insurance is provided by the transport company for all vehicles during shipping, but my insurance ceases to cover anything once it is sold. Sold being described as when funds are received in full, not at the time the vehicle is delivered.
  4. According to Federal guidelines, all vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If I have documentation to back up the mileage on these older cars, I will.
  5. Payment must be made by cash-in-person, cashiers check, money order or bank to bank wire transfer.  A $500.00  non-refundable deposit will be expected within 3-5 days following close of auction and remainder paid within 7-10 days. If you have a special situation, please feel free to call ahead of time to discuss. I am very easy to deal with!
  6. Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized form from the State of Florida proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit. You DO NOT pay sales tax twice! Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida.
  7. Buyer assumes the cost and responsibility of shipping. I already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the USA, so I can help arrange this for you and give you cost estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in and drive home, I will gladly pick you up from the Ft. Myers International Airport and provide you with a free 30 day temporary plate for your vehicle. You must have insurance before a temporary plate can be issued.
  8. All vehicles do have clear titles and are guaranteed to be clean and free of any liens or brands such as salvage or rebuilt. Occasionally, a title will be in transit from the bank or dealership because of a loan payoff and may not be in my immediate possession, but will be processed to you as soon as physically possible.
  9. Any buyer with a negative rating will be ignored unless he contacts me first with a good explanation. There is no sense in running up the prices by people who have problems following through with commitments. Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract. I WILL GIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY FINAL BIDDER THAT REFUSES TO HONOR HIS OR HER OBLIGATION!!!
  10. By the bidding and/or purchase of this vehicle, buyer obligates him or her self to agree with all guidelines and statements made on this auction page by the seller including "as-is" no warranty statements, sales tax regulations, and insurance requirements.

My promise to you is to be as fair, honest and helpful as possible. I have been in the car business for a long time and have enjoyed much success here locally and selling on E-Bay. That did not come about by mistreating my customers or underhanded dealings. Give me a try and you will be pleasantly surprised. You can e-mail me with any questions or feel free to give me a call on my mobile phone @ 239-940-4170. Thank you again!

Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.

Recharge Wrap-up: Ford 1.0L EcoBoost a hit in Europe; Build a tiny inverter, win $1 million

Mon, Aug 11 2014

In Europe, Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine is the best-selling turbocharged gasoline engine. The three-cylinder motor powers 20 percent of new Fords sold in Europe. Earlier this year, it won its third International Engine of the Year award, and between January and June, it was sold in about 120,000 cars. So far this year, 38 percent of Fords sold in the Netherlands, 35 percent in Denmark and 32 percent in Switzerland have been powered by the 1.0-liter EcoBoost. The engine's turbocharger spins at 248,000 rpm, and provides 24 psi of pressure. The engine produces up to 138 horsepower, depending on the version. Read more in the press release below. When lithium-ion battery packs are retired from the road, remanufacturing, repurposing, and recycling are worthwhile options, according to a study by Mineta Transportation Institute. The study included a cost-benefit analysis of those three options, and found remanufacturing to be the best route. To get the most out of them, batteries should be tested and have their damaged cells replaced then put back to use. Repurposing is the second best option, using the remaining available charge for something besides cars. Recycling on its own isn't profitable, but it could make economic sense with "increased technological breakthroughs." Learn more at Recycling International or download the report here. A smaller inverter for EVs can win you $1 million. The Little Box Challenge is an open competition to build a power inverter with a density of at least 50 watts per cubic inch. Google and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) are offering the hefty prize to the team that builds the inverter with the highest power density within an enclosed volume of 40 cubic inches. Teams must register by September 30. Read more at Green Car Congress or learn more at the Little Box Challenge website.

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.
