I have a 2002 Ford E350 Extended 7.3 Diesel Van with Sleeper and running boards for sale.
Reason for selling.
This van belonged to my wife. She passed away suddenly in early April.
She and I drove (drive) for a courier service. So the miles are mostly highway miles.
Don't let the high milage fool you. These 7.3 motors are really tough.
Her last van before this one had 1,000,000 miles on it. She sold it, and as for as I know, its still running around Chicago somewhere.
This van, like my other van and car are maintained and serviced at a Ford dealer.
3 1/2 months ago I had rear brakes, ball Joints (upper & lower), tie rod ends, fresh alignment and 2 new Michelin Lt 245/75R16 10 ply tires on the front. Back tires are good also with almost full tread on them. 2 new batteries installed last year by Ford dealer.
If your looking for a new van, this isn't it. But if your looking for a dependable van, this is it.
Comes with a Ford AM/FM ~ CD ~ Cassette ~ Radio.
Cold Air Conditioner work great.
Has wooden floor with e-tracks in rear for easy tie down.
Engine Runs good with no problems. Transmission shifts like it should. Rear end is good.
I wouldn't dare let her drive something that wasn't safe. Now, there is a little surface rust along bottom edge above the running boards as seen in the pictures. The black you under door is not rust, it was painted black.
This has been a very good van for us. Hate to see it go, but it must. Can't afford to keep, insurance etc.
(I don't know how they got 4 owners. Unless they counted 2 dealers in there somewhere. We bought this van as the second owners from a dealer in Ohio several years and miles ago.)
(I just drove van around the block today (5-10-13) To keep all the seals lubed so they won't dry out. I think it may need front brake pads. not sure. I can't remember then we last put them on. Even if it does need pads, it's still a good deal. The motor, trans and rear end are worth more than that.)
I'll let the pictures do the talking. I wouldn't let this slip away.
Van is being sold as is. No warranty given or implied.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask, I will answer as quickly as I can.
({: Thanks for looking :})

What car should James Robertson buy to drive his famous 21-mile commute?
Thu, Feb 5 2015The Internet has been abuzz this week with the story of Detroit resident James Robertson, the 56-year-old factory worker who has walked some 21 miles to work for the last 10 years. The Detroit Free Press brought Robertson's story to the fore, helping an online fundraising campaign to generate more than $275,000 (as of this writing). The original goal was just $5,000, or about enough to replace the used Honda that died on Robertson back in 2005, and left him walking. So, newly flush with funds, what's the perfect car for Robertson to buy? Let's look at the specifics of his situation, and try to pick out the best options. Here's what we know: Robertson's commute is (famously) 21 miles; he lives in downtown Detroit (for now) and seems pretty humble, so something very flashy is probably out; former Honda aside, his ties to the city (and statements about being a Ford fan) seem to indicate a Detroit Three company product is best; he's a single guy with a girlfriend; he's got to deal with Michigan weather, and the sometimes fickle snow removal processes in The D. Here are some choices: Ford F-150 Robertson is on record as being a Taurus fan, and after a decade of walking I've no doubt that the big sedan would offer a cozy respite. Still, as a car guy and a student of the industry, I'd have a hard time recommending a sedan so clearly in need of replacement. Especially when The Blue Oval has such great stuff within the rest of its roster. The 2015 F-150 seems almost perfect for Robertson. Opting for either of the new EcoBoost V6 engines should help keep fuel bills in reasonable check, while healthy ride height and four-wheel drive will get him to work on time even during the snowiest of snow days. Better still, with a fat options sheet and car-like ride quality, Robertson can have just about every amenity he might want, in a package that won't disrespect his blue-collar roots. Chevrolet Colorado You guys saw this one coming, right? The smaller footprint of the midsize Chevy pickup, relative to some of the other options here, should be an advantage for urban parking and driving. And again, 4x4 is an option for the nasty weather, the running costs should stay pretty low and there aren't many tech/luxury features that can't be had in-cabin. I'd go ahead and splash out on the Crew Cab bodystyle, too, just in case Robertson feels like starting a carpool.
Pony-car sales war: Mustang vs. Camaro vs. Challenger [UPDATE]
Fri, Jul 3 2015Update: An earlier version of this story misstated the 2015 Mustang's weight when compared with previous models. Additionally, we have added comments from Chevrolet in the text. The Ford Mustang has blown past the Chevy Camaro as America's best-selling pony car, and in June, it wasn't even close. The 'Stang outsold the Camaro 11,719 to 8,611 cars. The Camaro remained ahead of the Dodge Challenger, which sold 6,845 units. Even though the Camaro did post an 11.5-percent sales improvement in June, the competition is arguably stronger than at anytime since the 1970s muscle-car era. The Mustang's sales leapt a whopping 53.6 percent, while the Challenger saw a gain of 56 percent. Several factors are weighing down Camaro sales, including its lame duck status. Chevy is launching a new generation of the Camaro this year that's more than 200 pounds lighter, offers a new turbo four-cylinder engine option, and has a nicer interior than the outgoing model. Put simply: wait a few months and you can get a better car. It's also unlikely Chevy will jack up the price much, as it's historically kept the Camaro within reach of everyday enthusiasts. While Chevy fans wait in anticipation for their new sports car, Ford and Dodge have downshifted. The new Mustang, which went on sale last year, is faster and more sophisticated than its predecessor. It also offers a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, which Ford has credited for the Mustang's recent uptick and makes up 36 percent of the car's sales, Ford analyst Erich Merkle said. View 17 Photos June's performance allowed the Mustang to widen its sales gap with the Camaro this year. Through the first five months, Ford sold 68,290 Mustangs, a 54.4-percent increased compared with 2014. Chevy sold 42,593 Camaros, an 8.7-percent decrease. The Challenger – long the No. 3 pony car in sales volume – has seen its sales surge 41 percent this year to 37,011 units. Spokesman Monte Doran said Chevy expected that 2015 would be a "relatively soft year" for the Camaro. "Mustang is taking advantage of years' worth of pent-up demand for an independent rear suspension," he said. "When Camaro introduced an IRS, in 2009, it helped make us the best-selling performance car in America.
