The shocks are on the weaker side, but don't need replaced immediately. The back of the van below the tail light was hit a few years ago and tail light still works fine, vehicle has rust in different places some worse than others see pictures, cassette player doesn't work but CD player does, television does not operate correctly, it buzzes, the van has some wiring issues that cause power lock troubles so we just lock manually. There are some minor dents and dings see pictures. The keyfob needs replaced if you want to use the automatic starter. The power driver seat will move front to back, but will not tilt. The driver side door and the windows could use to be re-sealed because water will get into the cup holders. It gets slightly wet between the front seats when it rains. One manual door lock is glued/taped but works fine. There is some staining of carpeting and seats."

We have a 2000 E-150 Ford Conversion Van for sale.  We purchased this vehicle used in 2005 with about 44,000 miles on it and have driven it ever since.  As our family grew, we replaced the two captain's chairs for an additional bench seat...as it has grown again...we decided to buy a 12 passenger van.  If not, we would still be driving her!  This van has affectionately been named "Titanic."  It has 149,088 miles, has been through the birth and early lives of 6 children now and has served our family well.  I will try to accurately describe the imperfections with the van..which are several...and leave it to you to bid what you feel is fair.  This van has been through a lot, but it has always been a dependable vehicle for our family.

Triton V8 engine, Uniersal GLAVAL Conversion.  (we are still finding features of the conversion there are so many!) It will come with seating for 8 and we will also include the other two captain's chairs for easily making it back to a 7 seat van...your choice.  Consistently gets 12-15 miles per gallon depending on city/highway and use of A/C.

The two bench seats both fold down if you need to use it for cargo.  The back seat has now been bolted in, so if you want to make it a 7 passenger, simply pop out the 1st bench seat and click in the two captain's chairs.  Van has good storage behind the back bench seats and even under them and several "cubbie holes" here and there and netting, etc. to hold more items.  The vehicle has blinds on all windows except front window and driver and passenger front windows.

A new battery was put it on 5/23/13.  The oil change is recent and vehicle has been serviced regularly and repairs have been made as needed unless specifically described above.  The battery buddy is awesome..if your battery ever dies due to having a bunch of electronics or coolers, etc. plugged in..just push a button under the steering wheel and start it up!!!!!!  It has two rear power outlets one in front of each bench seat.  Has rear heating and air.  Lighting in back has several options, valance, center, and more!

There will be No Reserve so keep an eye on it and you might just get a great price while everyone else is sleeping.  Remember you are buying as-is.  Mechanically, it is fine to drive right now, but please note the necessary repairs needed to tires, ball joints, etc. needed pretty soon.  We were driving it daily up until a few days ago when we took possession of our new van.  I am located just off of Interstate 72 in Monticello, IL.  If you need to fly in to Indianapolis, IN, Bloomington, IL, or Champaign, IL and drive it home or need picked up from your home to come get it within a reasonable distance to zip code 61856...please email us and maybe you can pay for the gas or work something out with me.  If you have questions, please ask...we aren't hiding anything...but remember this isn't a new van so don't expect a $50,000-$60,000 machine! If you want to come and drive it before bidding...no problem just email us!  But remember once you bid...it is a binding contract.

Please ask questions, we will answer them every day or twice a day.  Please only bid if you intend to buy.  We will need a $500.00 non-refundable deposit made to paypal within 24 hours of your winning bid.  I am not a dealer so I don't charge taxes, transfers, doc fees or any of that stuff.  You are on your own to do what your state requires.  We will sign the title over to you and get you a bill of sale.  Thank you for bidding and please check the pictures.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.

2023 Grand National Roadster Show Mega Photo Gallery | Hot rod heaven

Wed, Feb 8 2023

POMONA, Calif. — From an outsider's perspective, it would be easy to assume that the Grand National Roadster Show has always been a Southern California institution. After all, it celebrates the diverse postwar car culture of the region — hot rods, lead sleds, lowriders, and more. However, the show had its roots in NorCal in 1950 when Al Slonaker and his hot rod club showed their custom cars at the Oakland Expo. The GNRS moved to Pomona, California, in 2004. By then it had grown exponentially and seen about a dozen more car customization trends come and go. However, the show and its centerpiece award, the America's Most Beautiful Roadster prize, celebrate what is perhaps the first of those trends: the American hot rod in its purest form. Today, in its 73rd year, the GNRS is the oldest indoor car show in America. Annually it welcomes 500-800 cars, gathered into special themes like Tri-Five Chevys or Volkswagen Bugs. At this year's show, which was last weekend, a special hall was dedicated to pickup trucks built between 1948-98, including mini-trucks, groovy camper bed conversions, and resto-mods.  However, of all the vehicles presented, only nine are eligible for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster award. Winners get their names engraved on a 9-foot-tall perpetual trophy that was, according to The Ultimate Hot Rod Dictionary, the largest in the world when it debuted in 1950. Slonaker chose the word "roadster" initially because "hot rod" bore slightly negative outlaw connotations in 1950. Only American cars built before 1937 of certain body styles — roadsters, roadster pickups, phaetons, touring cars — are eligible, and they cannot have roll-down side windows.  Cars in the running for the cup cannot have been shown anywhere else before their debut at the GNRS.  Contestants for this accolade essentially build their cars to the a platonic ideal of a hot rod. This year the honors went to Jack Chisenhall of San Antonio, Texas, for his "Champ Deuce," a 1932 Ford Roadster. It's exactly what you picture when you think of a hot rod, but distilled to its absolute essence.  Other standouts included "Green Eyes," a two-tone green 1959 Chevy El Camino  with a heavily metal-flaked bed, "Blue Monday," a 1964 Buick Riviera lowrider, and a personal favorite, "Purple Reign," a purple and black 1951 Mercury. Cars may have started out as tools, but there aren't shows like this filled with custom refrigerators.

Editors' Picks February 2021 | Ford F-150, Genesis GV80, Mazda CX-30 and more

Wed, Mar 10 2021

If we’ve driven and reviewed it, thereÂ’s an Autoblog Rating for it. ItÂ’s been over two years since we launched a new rating system to help you evaluate cars at a glance. We tweaked and improved it along the way and quickly arrived at a consistent process for giving each and every car on sale today a fair score. Cars that are exemplary or stand out in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. Every car we rate gets a score from 1 to 10, making it easy for you to tell if itÂ’s a car worth pursuing and possibly purchasing. YouÂ’ll find the scores of previously-rated cars attached toward the top of our written reviews. For example, the Bronco SportÂ’s rating can be found here. The Acura TLXÂ’s rating is in this post, and the Nissan RogueÂ’s rating is right here. There are hundreds of examples to be found. The above examples make up the most natural ways to find the Autoblog rating when researching for your next car, but starting today, weÂ’re going to begin calling out each new set of Editors' Picks per month in their own breakout stories. This will put the newest and most recently refreshed cars on sale on a pedestal for you to see which ones are worth your while. WeÂ’ll typically rate anywhere between 5-10 new cars per month, so you can count on just a select few from those to make this list. Expect to see this recurring ratings post each month going forward, and read on for FebruaryÂ’s EditorsÂ’ Picks.   2021 Genesis GV80 2021 Genesis GV80 View 18 Photos Quick take: The stylish GV80 offers useful safety features, compelling design and sporty dynamics to push it near the top of the segment. Genesis takes risks with this aggressive crossover, and the result is a luxurious vehicle that is rewarding to drive. Score: 8.5 What it competes with: Lincoln Aviator, Volvo XC90, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, Acura MDX, Lexus RX Pros: Beautiful design, good road manners, awesome value Cons: Small third row and cargo space, less comfortable standard suspension  From the editors: Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore — “The GV80 is a hugely important vehicle for Genesis. It makes a style statement, has an elegant interior and is a compelling all-round execution. It looks like a Bentley, and I give Genesis props for taking some risks with the GV80 and largely pulling it all off.
