1994 Ford Club Wagon Handicap Wheelchair Lift Van For Paraplegic Or Other. Mint! on 2040-cars
Wallingford, Connecticut, United States
Up for Auction is a super clean 1994 ford club wagon with a handicap wheelchair lift set up for a paraplegic or on paraplegic driver. Our family no longer needs this van so thats why we are selling it., Van only has 61,670 miles on it and the 302 V8 runs like a top and the Tranny shifts fine too. Everything works like it should. Has cold A/C,power door locks, working cruise control and the radio sounds nice too. The side door is power opening and closing and can be opened from the out side. The wheelchair lift is in great working condition and can lift up to 600 pounds or more I think and can be operated from the drivers seat. The drivers area floor is set up for a wheelchair and is power up and down. Has left hand controls (brake and gas) in perfect working condition and also has power operated emergency brake. The van has a bran new heavy duty battery installed and just had a new oil change done. Brakes are good and the rear tires are new and the front tires have over 70% left to them. The only thing the van needs is a new windshield. The one on the van has cracks in it but doesn't affect driving vision and I been driving with it that way. Clean NY title, Any question please call Loren at 203 687 0834 and the van is located in Wallingford,CT 06492

Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.
Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?
Fri, May 27 2016When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs
Sat, 14 Jun 2014He may be a few months late to the party, but in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Jay Leno has delivered a short video in which he runs down which of the Blue Oval's pony cars from the past 50 years are his favorites.
The list is pretty darn similar to our own, with some of the big names from the Mustang's half century making an appearance, while there are three or four cars here that we think you'll be pretty surprised by.
Take a look below for this short video from Jay Leno's Garage.
