Relisted due to non payment from a buyer that won the auction. This was an Ambulance/Fire Vehicle. It has a V-8 7.3 diesel non turbo engine. It has a crack in the windshield and will need to be replaced. It runs good, starts up first try. You do have to hold the Glow plug toggle in for about 10-20 seconds depending on the outside temperature. the cargo is empty and overall this vehicle appears to be in good condition. We bought this vehicle and decided we needed to go a different route to travel across the country. the original owner signed his name to the title in the wrong place and I contacted the DMV in NV and they gave me an Erasure affidavit for him to fill out which he did. Also if there is any additional paperwork needed by your state, we would be more than happy to do so, although I do not believe anything else should be needed other than a Bill of Sale the Affidavit and the title. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DMV BEFORE BIDDING! This is for serious buyers only! More about the Coach. It has lights on the inside that I was told work, It has a single door on the drivers side and double doors on the riders side and double doors in the back. A really good tow hitch has also been installed with a 4 way flat electric. I believe it is class 2 or 3 for the hitch. tires including the spare is in great shape. If you have ANY questions, please ask first. I cannot be responsible for a question answered after you have placed a bid. You will be responsible for shipping of this vehicle. If you do not have a way to have it shipped please contact me FIRST.
Features:
High Top Ambulance Height inside
Great Tires
Tow hitch
Turn off electrical to entire coach with switch on side of Drivers side chair

Frame appears to be in great condition
Diesel sounds like a typical 1990 7.3 L Ford Diesel
Dual Tanks with automatic switch in cab
There is a panel above the front seats that has been bolted to the ceiling but, according to previous owner there are still electronics in there.
5 digit odometer readout, on title, the previous owner wrote 127,xxx But, on the actual odometer it reads 27,xxx

EPA says fuel economy test for hybrids is accurate
Mon, 26 Aug 2013
The EPA says it stands behind its fuel economy test for hybrid vehicles following controversy about the testing process after Ford C-Max Hybrid customers and automotive journalists alike struggled to achieve 47 miles per gallon, the advertised mpg number, Automotive News reports. Ford responded to the issue almost two weeks ago by claiming that a 1970s-era EPA general label rule was responsible for the inaccurate mileage numbers, rerating the C-Max Hybrid's mpg numbers and offering customers rebates. Ford later said it didn't overstate the C-Max Hybrid's fuel economy and that it was surprised by the low numbers.
Ford technically didn't do anything wrong because it was following the general label rule, but agency regulator Christopher Grundler says the automaker was exploiting a loophole when it came up with the hybrid C-Max numbers, and that the testing process remains accurate. The general label rule allows vehicles that use the same engine and transmission and are in the same weight class to share fuel economy numbers, but it doesn't take into account other factors such as aerodynamic efficiency, which affects hybrids more drastically than non-hybrid vehicles. Ford originally used the Fusion Hybrid economy figures for the C-Max Hybrid and claimed the engineers didn't realize that its aerodynamic efficiency would affect fuel economy as much as it did.
2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
Ford C-Max Solar Energi takes a recharging station wherever it goes
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Companies ranging in size from small startups to major automakers have been experimenting with solar-powered charging stations for EVs and plug-in hybrids. And, of course, people have been powering vehicles with onboard solar panels for quite some time, too. Still, Ford's new C-Max Solar Energi Concept shows the promise of a truly practical implementation of solar on a production vehicle, and it may not be as far off in the future as we had thought.
As we reported a few days ago, the Solar concept makes use of a "concentrator lens" that focuses sunlight onto the Ford's roof-mounted solar panels. The special lens follows the rays of the sun to maximize the amount of charge being fed to the batteries of the car, taking about a day to fully charge the 21-mile, all-electric range of the C-Max Energi. Ford data suggests that combination might be enough to power 75 percent of all trips made by a statistically average driver. In turn, using the sun to power a vehicle could reduce yearly C02 emissions by up to four metric tons when compared with the driver of an average gasoline-powered sedan.
We've got live images of the C-Max Solar Energi Concept, jauntily tilted on its display to best present it's signature solar panels, straight from the CES floor.
