1988 Ford Econoline E350 52,800 Original Miles

This Van was converted by Collins Bus Corporation when it was manufactured.  This bus was converted to be a community transport bus for Evergreen Park, IL.  It has an upgraded electrical system to power the heaters and air conditioners.

I further converted the Bus when I purchased it by removing most of the seats.  Two - two passenger seats remain. Each seat has two seat belts installed.  I am a Livestock Farmer and have used this bus to transport meat.  It has easily transported Three 14.8 cubic font freezers full of meat, along with my equipment.  It has served me well, but no longer fits my needs.

  • The alternator was rebuilt January of this year
  • The batteries do not hold a charge.  I have not driven the Bus much in the last six months.  The batteries were starting to get weak and I think non use finished them off.
  • It has dual gas tanks
  • It is one ton
  • The body is very solid and in overall good condition.  There is some surface rust starting that I tried to show in the pictures.  The drivers door is rusted at the bottom.
  • The body has a four foot extension in the rear.
  • The front and rear heaters work very well.
  • The front and rear a/c does not work.  I never took it in for repair and am not sure of the problem.
  • The right front hub cap is missing.
  • The seats are well worn.
  • The bus doors open and close perfectly.  The automatic open does not work.  I had a bar made to lock and secure the doors.
  • I had strong anchors installed in the floor to secure my freezers and equipment.
The Reserve is set at $2,000

Payment Details:  A deposit of $200 within 24 hours of auction close via Paypal.  Full payment in cash is due within 3 days of auction end.

I am located in Bonfield, IL - approximately one hour south of Chicago.

You may set an appointment to see the Bus in person.  You can email me at questions@faithsfarm.com

Ford previews new C-Max ahead of upcoming debut

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

Looking at a Ford Focus? These days you can get it as a five-door hatch, a four-door sedan, or... that's all. European buyers don't even get our sedan, but they do get a wagon. And while the three-door hatch, two-door coupe and two-door cabrio have long since ended production, buyers around the world can also get the company's larger C-Max. And now, like the Focus upon which it's based, Ford is preparing to roll out a new version.
The tall wagon (or small minivan, depending on your perspective) is being treated to what Ford says is "an extreme makeover." Details to accompany the teaser image above remain few and far between, but following the spy shots we recently posted, it looks destined for some of the same visual updates as Ford rolled out on the 2015 Focus, with "even more refinement, practicality and technology."
Like the Mercedes B-Class, which is only available Stateside as an EV, American buyers can only get the C-Max in electrified form, either as the C-Max Hybrid or C-Max Energi. Overseas buyers, however, will be able to choose from a range of powertrain options and two wheelbase lengths - the longer of which boasts seven seats and the Grand C-Max name. (Remember when Chrysler did the same with its minivans?) Both are set to debut on September 17, so watch this space. After that, we'll expect to see it on display at the Paris Motor Show.

Ford Focus refresh shots leak ahead of Geneva

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

In case you haven't been paying attention, Ford has been gradually redesigning its lineup to sport a familiar face. The Aston Martin-inspired grille shape debuted on the Fusion and was soon applied to the Fiesta. Even the front end of the new Mustang takes its cues from the same, and we're sure other models will soon be made-over to fall in line. The next on the docket? The Focus.
Set to be unveiled in little over a week at the Geneva Motor Show, the revised Focus has leaked out a tad early, revealing a mild facelift that bears that same trapezoidal grille with horizontal slats. Along with the new grille, the headlights, lower fascia and hood appear to have been reshaped. Around back there appears to be a new rear bumper and taillights, but otherwise the shape remains largely the same as the current model.
Expect the updates to be applied to all bodystyles offered around the world, including the hatchback, wagon and sedan. The engine lineup is expected to carry over largely unchanged, though the plug-in hybrid powertrain from the C-Max Energi could port over to the revised Focus. Plus Ford seems to have taken the opportunity to spruce things up in the cabin some. Check it out in the image gallery above and watch this space for the official announcement as we pack our bags for Switzerland.

Radical RXC is a Mustang-hearted racecar for the road

Fri, May 30 2014

Radical has been building fantastic open-cockpit racers and roadcars for years, for the track day enthusiast who wants a vehicle that looks like it could show up for a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company's latest creation is the RXC, and while this coupe looks like a prototype racer, it's road legal in the UK and in some parts of the US. When testing a car this, um, radical, the first thought is likely to get it to the track for some big slides and wide open acceleration, but XCar Films takes the opposite approach in its latest video to learn how this racer fares on public roads. The version tested here is the standard RXC with the 3.7-liter V6 out of the Ford Mustang tuned to 350 horsepower with a seven-speed sequential gearbox; but Radical also offers the same engine with 380-hp, a 454-hp Ford EcoBoost 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, or even a 500-hp V8. Even in the most basic guise, it's a handful to control in the wet, if this video is any indication. The cliche of a road-legal racecar is bandied around a lot in the motoring world, but it truly applies to the RXC. The only problem with seeing the RXC exclusively on the road is that it can never really open up and show its full potential. This racer is indeed chomping at the bit to rocket off into the horizon, but all those pesky road safety laws hold it back. Still, the video is a chance to get a better impression about this thoroughbred sports car. Scroll down to check it out. This content is hosted by a third party.
