WOW!!! Here we have a rare Ford E-300, 1-Ton "Cruisaire" Camper Van. 302 V-8 with an automatic trans. Power steering and brakes. This van has the nicest 100% "rust free" body i have ever found on one of these old camper vans. It was green, and painted white several years ago, but not an expensive job. What you can see in the pics is actually paint peeling in places and "not rust". It has virtually no body damage, and Zero rust. The paint was done to basically protect the old body. Has the full towing package with reciever hitch and all wiring. Mud flaps and very, very good tires. All the original hubcaps etc. It has a propane set-up stove and heater. Has only an ice-box for a fridge. Has a water pump and holding tank for the sink and everything in the old girl works. The last trip was made about 3-months ago and on the way home the fuel pump went out. Because of some major health issues, i had her towed home and have not been able to get her repaired to this point. I cannot work on her or attemp to do the work at this point, so is being sold, "non-op". Before this problem, she ran and drove very well and always has. Please dont ask me to get her going as i am un-able to do so. She will not be sold for a ton of money, so will be fair according to this issue. Its hard to find these original Camper vans that are rust free. She does need a good cleaning, but is not beat. Remember, she is 39 years old and is not perfect. I have perfect feedback and try to be as honest and reasonable as poss. I will help any way i can with shipping at buyers expense. But make sure to tell the transport company, that this rig is non-op. I will also store as long as reasonably needed at no charge. She has a clean and clear title and must be paid for in full before any paperwork or the van is released. I have had several of these old panel/camper vans and they are neat if you like the "old school" type rigs. With very little work, she could last a long time and have lots of fun for not much money. You can call William before 9PM MST with any questions etc. 1-406-861-8388 Billings, Montana

Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.
Is that the Ford GT Le Mans racer in the background of this Forza video?
Mon, Jan 26 2015Shortly after the reveal of the new Ford GT in Detroit a couple of weeks ago, Microsoft announced that it was putting the new American supercar on the cover of the upcoming sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport video game series. Now it has put out a video of the process of digitizing Dearborn's latest. Whether you're into Detroit steel (or carbon fiber and aluminum in this case), exotic supercars or video games, the video is worth a watch in and of itself. But our eyes were focused on something else. In the background of one shot (around the 1:49 mark) you can see a design board with renderings of what looks to be the rumored racing version of the GT – complete with reshaped air intakes, deeper side sills, a bigger rear wing and a central rear fin like you'd find on the latest LMP1 racing prototypes. It wouldn't be the first time we've caught wind of the prospect of the Blue Oval's new supercar going racing. We first heard of the plans last October, further reinforced in December with reports of the new GT coming to Detroit. And as we reported just a couple of weeks ago following the supercar's reveal, a return to Le Mans could be in the cards – which would be fortuitous timing, since next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 scoring its landmark 1-2-3 finish in the 24-hour race.
Ford bringing C-Max Solar Energi Concept to CES
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Solar energy might not be enough to power a usable electric vehicle on its own, but that doesn't mean it can't lend a helping hand. And that's what Ford has in store for the Consumer Electronics Show opening next week in Las Vegas.
Ford has essentially taken its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid and fitted it with the latest in solar panel technology developed by SunPower, acting like a magnifying glass to capture as much of the sun's energy as possible. So you get the benefit of an electric vehicle, with the range assurance of a hybrid, without needing to draw from the grid.
Ford estimates that a day of charging in the sunshine will give the C-Max Solar Energi concept the same full charge as the production PHEV, with a total range of 620 miles - 21 of which can be run on electric power alone. Otherwise the vehicle - which remains a concept for the time being - is identical to the existing C-Max Energi. The top-selling model in Ford's growing hybrid and electric vehicle portfolio helps put Ford just behind Toyota among the top seller of hybrids in America. Scope out the images in the gallery above and the video clip and press release below for a closer look.
