This is a perfect extremely comfortable car that shows kilometers in the odometer (Canadian model) with around 17,400 ACTUAL MILES!!!. It was acquired from a police detective with minimal usage, and was sitting parked for over 10 years at my friends garage in Maryland. The vehicle now is in Alpharetta , Ga and has new tags and is driven by me or my wife.
If you are the type who uses "common sense" vs. "book values", the type that likes newer cars and can probably afford one but looks to save money getting one that feels new with the lowest miles possible for the year, if you like a car that is the most comfortable for the money and you don't want to take a big $$$ loss buying a new one, and if you like the fact that most drivers around you will "behave" ...and when you are on the highway driving in the most comfort going to your vacation spot most cars in front of you will move out of your way, or if you happen to drive in a high crime neighborhood all "up to trouble" guys will instantly disappear from your path, then this car is for you. You will be a very very happy owner. (I am talking from personal experience here :-). I never felt safer in a bad part of town when I drove this Vic to see some houses for sale and when I took it to Florida on a trip last month with the family it was so comfortable the time flew by very fast and we were not affected at all by the long trip, and it was funny on the highway to see great behavior from other cars obviously thinking that we were the police :-).
You will not find another car like this beauty with such low miles, I had listed it one time before and was not planning to re-list it if it didn't meet my reserve, but the time has come to give it another shot as I need to get my 2 teens 2 smaller cars ASAP and this beauty will have to go to a good home. This is one opportunity to get a $22,000 car that still looks, feels, and drives like new, for less than 1/3 the price. This car is a keeper and a smart owner who can afford it will enjoy it for the long time to come.
New tires (around 4 months less than around 800 miles on them), new battery, new fuel pump and plugs, new transmission oil and filter and new engine oil. ITS PERFECT!
Good luck and thank you.
The vehicle shines as a new one. ATTN:! on the 3rd pic the black dots are from my camera, the car is spotless. Sorry about that. Also, the speedometer shows top speed of 200 km/hr as you can see from the pics. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Ford to revisit CVTs?
Thu, Dec 11 2014Today, Ford wishes its first experience with non-hybrid continuously variable transmissions was far behind it. The Blue Oval was awash in complaints and a couple of class-action lawsuits over the CVTs used in its 2005-2007 Ford Freestyle, Five Hundred and Mercury Montego models, which were a manufactured in Batavia, Ohio as part of a joint venture with ZF. The company gave up on the CVT after just two years, but with fuel economy standards pressing automakers to conjure new tricks, Ford's global product development head, Raj Nair, is now saying the transmissions might make a return, "particularly in the low torque applications," says Automotive News. An obvious candidate for CVT consideration is the 1.0-liter Fiesta that can presently only be had with a five-speed manual. Beyond that, the company's 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines might fit the bill. Ford hasn't given any indication as to what vehicles it might use to reintroduce the CVT to the US market, or hints about timeline or who would develop it, however. Some CVT trivia: The 1990 Subaru Justy II was the first US passenger car offered with a continuously variable transmission - Subaru called it the ECVT. It handled gearing duties for a 1.2-liter, inline three-cylinder engine that got all of 70 horsepower. A contemporary blurb about the car begins with "Goodness, gracious, great gobs of gimmickry," and goes on to say that "We can't imagine where you would take this car for repairs, but we are certain that the one mechanic in the world who can fix it lives in a very expensive house." The transmission didn't win any fans, but the ECVT and the car have been largely forgotten, while Subaru played the long game and now you'll find its vastly improved Lineartronic CVT on six of the eight models it sells.
Ford recalls 83k Taurus and crossover models for halfshaft issue
Fri, 15 Aug 2014Ford and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall for some 83,250 vehicles in the US, for an issue with halfshafts. More specifically a "halfshaft retention circlip" might not have been properly installed on affected vehicles, with the result being halfshafts that may move improperly or disengage completely from the linkshaft while driving. The NHTSA release also notes that the issue may occur "without prior warning" which obviously factors in to the timeliness of getting this checked.
Should the halfshaft disengage, a few troubling things could happen. If it occurs while driving, power from the engine will no longer be transmitted to the wheels. And, if the vehicle is parked without the parking brake applied after disengagement of the circlip, vehicles may roll away even if they're transmissions have been placed in "Park."
Affected vehicles are as follows: Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers from model years 2012 to 2014; Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKS sedans from model years 2013 to 2014; Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles from model years 2013 to 2014.
Xcar shows how to drive the Ford Model T
Wed, Jan 21 2015A couple of weeks ago Xcar posted a teaser review of the Ford Model T, a look at what the British duo would have been doing if they'd been doing their thing for 100 years. Now we have their complete, 12-minute take on the what might be, as they say, "arguably the most important car of the 20th century." Thankfully, instead of just a review, Xcar spends about half the time giving us a tour of history, from Ford's early days working for the Edison Illuminating Company to his racing days and founding of several car companies that either died or became other car companies after he left, like Cadillac. They also line up the pieces and the sales realities that led to Ford implementing – not creating, mind you – assembly-line production of the Tin Lizzie. And then they get into how crazy it is to drive, like how a driver needs two of the three pedals, the handbrake lever and a steering column stalk to get into high gear. Enjoy the video above on a 100-year-old car that is "unbelievably comfortable," "mildly terrifying" and ready to do just about anything.
