This car is in EXCELLENT condition. I purchased the car approximately a year ago from the original owner and have not really driven as much as I would have liked. I have a car issued to me for work and have three others of my own that I also drive sparingly. But the time has come to sell this car and let someone else take it and drive it as it deserves to be driven. I got the car with around 31K miles and it now has only 35K+ miles...As much as it pains me to sell it, pains me more to have it and not drive it more often.

Take a look at the photos and you must agree the car is AWESOME. These Crown Victoria LX Sports came with a monochromatic paint scheme where the tail light trim and grill are the same color as the car. You will note the grill on this car is black with the honeycomb mesh which came from a Police Interceptor and was swapped out by me as I liked the look of the black matching the sideview mirrors. I do have the original Midnight Grey painted grill and that of course comes with the car.

This car was VERY heavily optioned when bought new and has some rare options like laminated side glass, heated sideview mirrors and six disc changer mounted in the trunk. The laminated glass is a very rare feature and seems to make the ride even more quiet than a Crown Victoria with regular tempered side glass.

This is an LX Sport model so it came from the factory with leather buckets and console, real dual exhaust with H pipe, 3.27 rear, and the handling package which included rear air springs and sway bar. When I bought the car it needed rear shocks so I had them upgraded to Police Interceptor gas shocks. The ride is firm and car responds very well. I have driven "Standard" Crown Victorias, Police Interceptors, LX's and this LX Sport and this car rates just below and Interceptor as far as stiffness of the ride and a much bigger improvemet over Standard and regular LX models. The airsprings are rated just below the stiffness of Interceptor rear springs. Given the heavy loads typically carried by Interceptors the rating of those springs was designed to compensate; with an empty trunk, Interceptors tend to ride high in the rear. This car on the other hand actually has a lower stanch yet since the airsprings are designed to keep the car level even with heavy loads in the trunk. The suspension is tight yet level. Simply put, the car handles great yet at the same time does not sit high in the rear and can handle heavy loads...Its the best of all worlds.

I am also including two BRAND NEW 17 inch Ford aluminum wheels pictured here as well. Please send any questions or concerns you have and I will be sure to answer them timely.

Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.

2015 Ford Mustang GT Line-Lock Burnout

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

In this brief Short Cut, Autoblog's Steven Ewing demonstrates Line-Lock on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Accessed through an on-screen performance menu, the feature temporarily locks the front brakes to help you heat up the rear tires for better traction, as you would for drag racing. The result? A 15-second smokescreen.
