You are looking at a 2009 Ford Crown Vic that has just under 184000 miles but runs very well. I bought this car to be my daily driver and second family car, one that we can take on trips because of the space and ride quality however some things have come up and I need to sell.
The engine is strong, quiet and still gets great fuel mileage. The transmission and rear end are quiet and it shifts perfectly. The entire underneath is in perfect condition ball joints and shocks are good. New brakes and new tires. This car needs nothing. A tune up was just done and I took it on a 1200 mile vacation trip and it got 23mpg and never missed a beat! This car is a southern car its whole life, no rust on any part including underneath.
This car was/is a P71 police unit hence the high mileage however it has full civilian interior. The the front and rear seats, carpet, dash trim and overhead console that tells temp/direction. So it has both driver and passenger 8-way power seats, the rear seat have an arm rest. From the inside there are no signs of this being a P71. This car is the second to last year of production so it comes with the newly designed dash and door panels. The interior is in good shape though not perfect, seats have a few cig burn marks (I do not smoke), the carpet is perfect, and all interior trim is perfect. I took out everything and pressure washed and cleaned and put it all back in so it looks and smells clean inside. I did a AM/FM/CD/DVD player and a in-dash monitor screen conversion so it will play DVDs. The tilt, power pedals, all power windows and power locks all work fantastic.
The outside of the car is in really great shape, paint is near perfect, this was a factory black so no half white or none of that. The passenger rear quarter has a ding or two but not really noticeable other than that the whole rest of the body is great! It did have holes for lights and bars but I filled them or covered over them so nothing is visible. It also had roof holes that I covered over and that it is not noticeable at all either. I have put black Cobra R 17" wheels on it the stance is really nice. The wheels are wide and it makes the car sit low and wide! Handles great, steering is tight as new, no squeaks or rattles.
Overall the car is a great cruising car, very comfortable and a pleasure to drive! At highway speeds there is almost no road or wind noise probably the quietest car I've ever owned. Even though the mileage is a bit high the car runs out like a brand new one and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance.
This is a no reserve auction, highest bidder will win this car so bid with confidence and intention to own this car.

This Or That: Fiat 500 Abarth vs. Ford Fiesta ST [w/poll]
Thu, 21 Aug 2014
They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.
Ford auctioning off F-35-themed 2015 Mustang for charity
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Ford's been a supporter of EAA AirVenture, a huge, annual air show held in Oshkosh, WI, for several years now, with one of its most notable contributions being a modified Ford Mustang, designed to look like one of America's great fighting aircraft. There was an SR-71 Mustang, based on the legendary spy plane, a Red Tails edition, which honored the ground-breaking Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, as well as Blue Angels and Thunderbird Mustangs, based on America's two great military aerial demonstration teams.
Each car is auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the EAA Young Eagles program, which introduces kids to the joy of flight. For the 2014 AirVenture, which runs from July 28 to August 3, the one-off pony car is based on the new-for-2015 Mustang, and America's latest fighting aircraft - the controversial F-35 Lightning II.
The unique Mustang sports titanium paint scheme, with both glossy and matte sections, as well as yellow-and-blue trim and decal elements inspired by CF-1, the first F-35 test plane. A carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser add some visual eye candy, while the interior boasts a set of Recaro seats. Ford also opted to fit unique wheels and a brawnier rear spoiler, to tie everything together.
