Drivetrain

Engine starts right up and runs smooth and strong.  160k all highway miles.  NO knocks, NO smoke, NO dripping leaks. Transmission shifts into and through all gears smoothly as it should.  Has even acceleration and cruises smoothly at highway speed.  The 4.6L is one of the most durable and efficient engines Ford produced and should easily last 300K+ miles with proper maintenance.  This was a maintained vehicle with regular dealer/fleet servicing.  Recent Service: double platinum sparkplugs, new battery, air filter 

Exterior     

Paint has most of its factory shine and glistens in the sun as you can see.  No major/large dents or rot on the body.  There are some some scratches and marks in the paint where decals were removed, mostly on the front driver door.  There are some dings and small soft dents here and there around the body.  There are some plugs on the roof and one on the trunk where antennas were removed.  Aside from the minor blemishes, the body is overall straight as you can see.  Please keep in mind this is not a showroom new but in good condition for the year and mileage. 

Interior

Interior is in good condition with minimal wear.  Seats and floor are not ripped or shredded.  No tears in seats.  Dashboard is NOT cracked or faded.  Ashtray and glovebox tray have been removed.  Rear door pins have been removed but are included.   Inside is fresh and clean.

Wheels and Tires

·  Tires have approx 30-40%+ tread remaining.  Full set of Ford steel wheels and center caps.

I have test driven this vehicle over 150 miles and it should have no problem going anywhere.  As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use.  I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects.  There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.  This was previously a police vehicle and may have greater wear and tear than private vehicles.  Vehicle is otherwise sold as-is and where is with no warranty express of implied.  If you are local I encourage and welcome you to come down and test drive the car for yourself or have an independent inspection completed PRIOR to bidding.  I am happy to answer any questions so feel free to e-mail me or call.  There will be no price adjustments or cancellation of sale for failure to do so.

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be made via PayPal within 24 hrs of auction's close.  Balance to be paid within 3 days via certified/cashier's check from a verifiable institution with local branches only, US postal money order preferred(no other's will be accepted due to counterfeit MO's going around), or cash (in person only, DO NOT mail cash).  A document fee of $150.00 will be added to the winning bid price.  If you require documents to be mailed please add $20 to final price for overnight service.   Item must be picked up within 10 days of auction's close unless you make other arrangements with me.  If not, buyer agrees to pay $20/day storage.  Sorry but I can not have vehicles sitting here for weeks or months.  IF DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HRS OR PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS, VEHICLE WILL BE RELISTED OR SOLD TO NEXT BIDDER.  Cyber_lot.

Shipping is at the expense and responsibility of the winning bidder.  If you require shipping, I am happy to assist.  Shipping for vehicles is approximately $900-1000 for west coast, $500-600 for southeast, $800-1000 for southwest, and $800 for midwest.  These rates represent average prices and may change with fuel costs.  Vehicle is located in Long Island, NY, 11713.  Cyber_lot.  If you wish to fly and drive, I can pick you up at the area airport (Long Island Macarthur, ISP) or the train station (LIRR-Ronkonkoma).
