The car is original black and not re-painted, no door dings, has scratches but nothing major, super sharp and shiny. The car looks great, (2) nice working spotlights, vinyl/plastic floors, front ballistic door panels (bullet proof), electric adjustable pedals, new ashtray/cup holder, has a trunk Kevlar, has cruise control but needs to be programmed to work, no holes on the dash, (2) holes on the trunk lid where the rubber plugs are - no air or water leak, seal tight, Cold A/C, heather works, defroster works fine, blue silicone radiator and heathers hoses (severe duty/heat resistant/fail safe), AM/FM stereo, all seat belts and buckles in place, all (4) windows fully operational, new window tint (medium rear and light front) tires are great all around (235/55/17 by GOODYEAR EAGLE RSA), car came with no spare tire kit but can sold separately upon request. Ford recalls select Explorer, E-Series vans
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Just a few days ago we brought you news that Ford had issued a recall on 28,000 units of the Edge crossover for problems related to the fuel line. But now the Blue Oval has issued recall notices on two more of its larger vehicles.
The first relates to the Explorer, 395 examples of which from the 2011 and 2012 model years were found to have problems with their steering systems if they underwent service after September 1, 2013. An apparent software glitch could lock the steering gear, preventing the driver from steering the vehicle and thereby increasing the risk of a crash. As a result, Ford dealers are being instructed to check their records to identify the problematic vehicles and bring them in to have the steering gear replaced. The second problem revolves around E-Series vans that may develop bubbles in their windshields under hot temperatures. The decrease in visibility through the problematic windshield could - you guessed it - "increase the risk of a crash." As a result, Ford is calling in 4,532 units of the E-150, E-250, E-350 and E-450 vans built in the relatively short window between May 12 and May 26, 2011. Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
Narrated by Cockney actor Ray Winstone, the video goes through the Mondeo's years and how it's evolved from 1993 to the as-yet-unreleased fifth-generation model, which is essentially the same as the Ford Fusion that's sold in America. Take a look below for the full video from Ford of Europe.
