2008 Ford Crown Victoria in very nice condition. 63,600 miles. Retired police car. Body has no holes in it except for one on top of the trunk that is has a plug. Front bumper also has two cutouts where the push bar used to be installed.  According to the police department from which it was purchased, the car has never had any paint/bodywork/frame work done.  Beautiful DARK TINTED WINDOWS.

(This car is currently my daily driver.  So, it may have a few more miles when you come to pick it up).

You'll notice that the rear pictures are missing the "Ford" trunk badge.  I just installed a brand new one that I bought from a Ford dealer.  The original one was removed by the police department to accomodate their decals that went across that portion of the trunk.

Has a few impressions from the decals, but they don't look bad unless you look at them from an angle. Has an aftermarket Pioneer stereo that plays very well. Has some surface scratches primarily on the hood and trunk that would buff out nicely with a nice wax. Otherwise, there is a chip right at the very front where the hood meets the front fascia and one on the rear bumper.

I've been driving this car around since I got it to make sure that I knew everything that was wrong with it. The tire pressure monitoring light is on, and the driver side power window switch might need to be replaced as the window goes down but needs a couple of tries to go back up. It also suffers from the dreaded Crown Victoria dim trip odometer. It is also missing the spare tire, but has the jack included - not sure why, but that's how I bought it.  The driver's side floor mat is missing and the carpet is worn through in a couple of spots - not horrible, but it needs a floor mat.  The other three floor mats are in very good condition.

Car has the street appearance package which includes chrome exterior trim and full cloth interior and carpeted floor. Tires are in good to great condition. Front tires are fabulous. The rear tires are in good but not great condition. All 4 tires are Firestone Firehawk pursuit GTZ.

It will get an oil change and a tire rotation before delivery (best tires will move to the rear and the good tires to the front).

Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger

Thu, Nov 27 2014

Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.

Ford pits The Stig against Gran Turismo 6 in Focus ST Goodwood run

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the world great automotive gatherings. So, it was the perfect event for Ford to give the refreshed 2015 Focus ST its world debut in front of a loving public. It even surprised us with a new diesel-powered version, as well.
The Blue Oval really put its focus on making the ST a better driver for this refresh. It left its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder alone to still pump out a respectable 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The changes like a retuned front suspension, electric power steering and improved interior made the hot hatch an even better place to spend time behind the wheel.
To prove that the Focus ST is still as potent as ever, Ford set up a one-on-one race up the Goodwood Hill. But instead of putting the two cars side-by-side, former Stig from Top Gear UK, Ben Collins, piloted the real model up the course, and his rival drove the virtual version in Gran Turismo 6. The two hot hatches set off at the same time to see whether reality could beat the virtual world, and the finish was actually extremely close. Scroll down to watch the video and find out the winner of this battle at Goodwood.

Ford adds third shift at F-150 plant to keep up with demand

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

The signs have been very positive for Ford's F-Series line of pickup trucks as of late, and after 24 consecutive months of increasing sales of the best-selling F-150, the automaker has added a third production crew at its Kansas City Assembly Plant that includes 900 new hourly workers to meet demand for the truck. This the first step in Ford's plan to add 2,000 hourly jobs at the plant to help meet demand for its trucks and to begin production of the new Transit van, the automaker says.
Despite some tough new competition, sales of the F-Series are the strongest they've been since 2006, according to Ford. The automaker sold 60,449 F-Series in July, the best sales figure for the mid-summer month since 2006, which also represents a 23 percent increase compared to July 2012. From January to July 2013, sales were up 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
Ford has committed to creating 12,000 hourly jobs by 2015, and with the 900 new employees added to the assembly plant in Missouri, the company says it has completed 75 percent of its goal. Ford has also invested $1.1 billion to retool and expand the Kansas City Assembly Plant to ready it for Transit production. Take a look at the press release below for more job and F-Series sales information.
