2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, Unmarked Vehicle, 106,000K original miles with only 630 idle hrs and still like new conditions, everything works in the car and is missing nothing, from the City of San Bernardino, CA, mostly highway and long lonely roads, The car is original silver with a touch of bronze - it's rare but yet unique color and it almost looks like a 2 tone. Paint code is (HG), does have minor scratches, paint peeling from passenger side quarter panel by the rear windshield (very small area) and minor chips in the paint which is what you would expect on a former Police unit with original paint. The paint still looks great and is sharp and shiny, (2) nice working spotlights, vinyl/plastic floors, electric adjustable pedals, traction control button with on/off switch, trunk pack/Kevlar, no cruise control, new ashtray/cup holder, (1) small cut out on dash trim (not really visible), no holes on the body, Cold A/C, heather works, defroster works fine, AM/FM stereo, all seat belts and buckles in place, all (4) windows fully operational, new window tint (dark in the rear) tires are great all around (235/55/17 by GOODYEAR EAGLE RSA), has a new full matching spare tire kit in the trunk. CLEAN TITLE, pink slip and documents on hand. Sold as is. Very fast car that needs nothing and is ready to go! READY FOR WORK AND ROAD READY!!

US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction

For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.

Ford gives S-Max the Vignale treatment in Milan

Ford has a bit of a history in reviving the names of old coachbuilders it has long since gobbled up and using them to distinguish its top-of-the-line models in Europe. That's what it did for years with Ghia, and after having replaced it several years ago with the Titanium trim level, now it's doing it again with Vignale.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Ford revealed the Mondeo Vignale concept in both sedan and wagon body-styles, which are set to reach production next year. But before they do, the Blue Oval automaker is at it again, applying similar upgrades to the S-Max minivan and unveiling it in concept form in Milan this week.
Setting the Vignale concept apart from any other S-Max is its Milano Grigio rose-hued silver pearlescent paint, 21-inch alloys, chrome trim and hexagonal-pattern grille. Inside it's all ultra-soft quilted leather and aluminum trim, with tablet docking stations in the back and thinner, more flexible seats than the existing production version.

Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow

Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
