This is a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria former NYC taxicab. It's still used as a taxi, but there's no meter and no medallion. The outside color is yellow. The front seats are black leather and the rear seats are brown leather. Has the separation window in the back and grab handles. Runs and drives fine. Body is in good condition- there are some scuff marks on the bumper. The driver of this vehicle has been smoking in it. On the side front doors has the taxi fares. The seats are a little ripped/worn. In the back there is separate vents and controls for the AC/Heat. Has a radio in the front. There's wiring and harnesses for the meters also- but the meter was taken out. Has power windows and airbags. Needs new battery. There is some nice wood trim on the passenger side. I am the original owner of this vehicle. Car has clear title. Payment is due at the time of sale. I will only complete the sale in person, by appointment only. You will need plates to drive it home or have it towed.

Do you ever wonder what the a owner is doing with your vehicle after you trade it in? Mark Oberholtzer of Mark-1 Plumbing in Texas City, TX, has no need to imagine, but it's probably his worst nightmare. That's because an image of his old Ford F-250 is now on Twitter as a gun platform in the Syrian Civil War. While the image only appeared recently, Oberholtzer traded the truck in last November. Somehow since then the F-250 made its way from Texas to Syria. According to a report from television station WHOU, the dealer that took the trade said the pickup immediately went to auction. Unfortunately, along the whole route no one ever took Mark-1 Plumbing's name and phone number off the door. So when the image went up on Twitter, everyone knew whom the Ford previously belonged to. The plumbing company makes it abundantly clear that this whole bizarre situation is simply a coincidence, and it has absolutely no ties to the conflict in Syria. However, that isn't preventing people from phoning the business with angry calls and threats. Things are so bad that Oberholtzer keeps the phones unplugged for relief. US safety regulators have closed a pair of investigations into some 500,000 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Marauder sedans built between 2004 to 2007, and 100,000 Chevrolet Impala models from 2014. The Ford investigation focused on rusting heat shields, which may become dislodged and jam the steering, according to Reuters. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that this happened very rarely. In fact, of the ten incidents filed with the government safety watchdog, six came from a single police department, which evidently had some sort of problem with its reporting. As for the Impala, the NHTSA investigators attributed two incidences of "unintended autonomous braking" to user error. In both cases, the vehicles were involved in rear-end collisions. According to GM investigators, it's believed that drivers accidentally activated the electric parking brake, causing the collisions. The vehicles in question were rental cars.
