2006 Police Interceptor Black And White on 2040-cars
Brainerd, Minnesota, United States
I have a 2006 police interceptor, clear title, NO RUST, some paint peeling on doors and roof...but only the white paint. This vehicle has 133643 miles on itand runs very good. NOTE: This is my daily driver, so miles on odometer will vary some. The ABS lights are on on the dash and the light for the odometer works speraticlly, the brakes do work great, so Im not sure why the lights are on in the dash. Cruise control dont work, hasnt worked when I bought the car. It has an indoor light over the center of the roof, and factory dome lights... Still has the interceptor chip, and has plenty of horsepower. Great gas mileage for over the road driving. Can be used for college security force, or as your daily driver. Has brand new spare tire in trunk. I built a custom center counsil for it, since it didnt have one when I bought it... This car has 2 trunk buttons, one on drivers door that only works when key is on, the other on center of dash, the dash switch works with or without key. To sweeten the deal, I do have a complete cage for this car as well, if interested...The cage would be great for adding to the car if your going to have animals in the back seat, or whatever. The front seats are cloth, and the rear seat is leather...the spotlight works, This car has plenty of trunk space, and the spare tire is mounted to a sliding shelf that slides out of the way. Rear doors do lock manually, the locks are located in the door by the hinges. The rear doors do NOT open from inside, if your mechanicaly inclined, you could fix that. Power windows, power locks, and drivers seat is fully adjustable from door mounted seat controls. Brake pedals have adjustment switch on dash too. Feel free to ask any questions you may have for the item...will NOT PART OUT!!! So please do not ask. Must be able to pick up locally, I will NOT ship, I need the money, that is why I am selling this beautiful car for a bargin price with or without accessories(cage) I bought this car with intentions to use as a security vehicle, I dont need it now, cause I will not be starting a security company at this time, so I am selling this car at a bargain price, most dealers would sell this car for 5000 dollars or more, your getting it at a deal! Im looking for a truck and need the money, thanks! NOTE: to ALL Ebay personell, this vehicle listing does NOT violate the police items policy! It is a retired police vehicle, and does NOT have any emergency lights, or lightbars, or decals of any kind! |

Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6
Mon, 11 Nov 2013If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
Ford shows off V8-powered Ranger headed to Dakar Rally
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Avert your eyes now if you're jealous that the global version of the Ford Ranger is not offered in the US. Ford's midsize pickup is being tuned up to take on the 2014 Dakar Rally, and the result is a truck that is probably even cooler than any F-150 SVT Raptor we've ever seen in the States. Ford is actually building two versions of the truck for Dakar, which will run from January 5 through January 18, covering more than 5,000 miles from Argentina to Chile.
Starting with a fully composite body and a 5.0-liter V8 plucked from a Mustang, nearly every aspect of the trucks have been purpose built to take on the grueling race. This includes things like the six-speed sequential gearbox, liquid-cooled rear brakes and the 132-gallon fuel tank. As proof that Dakar is more about endurance than speed, the engines used in these race trucks will be limited to around 350 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, and will max out at a top speed of just 105 miles per hour. Scroll down for Ford's official press release offering more information about the trucks and teams being prepped for Dakar.
Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang
Wed, 20 Aug 2014Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.
