This auction is for a USED 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor.  This car is clean.  I don't drive it in the winter.  It's modded and not the cop car it used to be.
K&N intake
BBK throttle body
MSD Ignition
Kooks Headers
H-pipe dual exhaust
Cobra under drive pulley
Goodfellas built 4 spd auto trans
Marauder drive shaft
411 gears
SCT computer tuner ( 2 tunes 93 octane and 114 octane)

On the outside it looks like an unmarked highway patrol car.  It's white with black steel wheels and polished center caps.  It has the push bar, spot light, and even still has the wig-wag headlight system.  The front seats are cloth and the rear seats are leather.  THE REAR DOORS DO NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE.  Just for kicks there is a DARE license plate on the front.

Problems:
The air conditioning has a leak so it runs out of freon.
The dome light won't work.
That's it.

It really is a great car.  It definitely turns heads and will surprise some mustangs you pull up next to (obviously depending on mods).  I also just put a new battery in it.  We just bought our own house and the toy has to go so I can buy a truck.  I have the clean title in hand so there will be no messing around.  I also have listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Kawei K1 pickup blatantly copies Ford F-150

Thu, Apr 24 2014

The Chinese auto industry used to be looked at as a joke full of products blatantly copied from foreign vehicles. However, companies like Qoros and others show that the country's automakers have taken big steps in terms of original design. It doesn't look like every automaker there is ready to put down the tracing paper yet, though. Case in point: The Kawei K1 pickup pictured above, which is an obvious rip-off of the Ford F-150. In fact, the company isn't even hiding it. Kawei deserves a little credit for its openness. In describing the new model, it says: "No matter the black net grille and the outline of the headlamp, even if the styles of fog lamp and engine cover, it looks the same as Ford Raptor." It also admits that spelling out the model name on the hood is inspired by Land Rover. It's available with either a 2.4-liter, gasoline-fueled four-cylinder producing 141 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque (elsewhere it also lists it as having 162 lb-ft) or a 3.2-liter six-cylinder diesel with 106 hp and 181 lb-ft. Regardless of engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The trucks cost around 100,000 Yuan ($16,033). So at least the K1 is a reasonably priced knockoff. According to Car News China, the K1 is actually selling in small numbers. The company made 10,000 of them last year and even exported some to Africa and the Middle East. Kawei's factory is doubling in capacity this year to build even more. You can read more about the truck on the company's website in some very mangled English. Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.
