2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Sedan 4-door 4.6l on 2040-cars
Saint Augustine, Florida, United States
Up for bid we have a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria CVI. This car was purchased 2 years ago with 113K miles on it. I had a 2010 with 45K miles, a Government car that was total lost in an accident. I purchased the car back from insurance and replaced the rear end, the transmission and the engine to the 2003. I had the odometer put back to the 45326. and it now has around 68000. miles showing and is still being driven daily. The air is cold and the heat is hot. Interior is Grey withlight Grey carpet and dark grey seats and dash and a cloth rear seat as it was assigned to a Captain in the department. The car was ordered in white and all but the hood, trunk and roof were painted poly blue as this is the agencies color code. It has a driver electric seat, heated mirrors, P/S P/B A/C Tilt wheel. Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Aux . cooling system, Spot Light. Pwr door locks Rear window defroster AM/FM with CD player Trunk release and fuel tank release, Transmission and P/S cooler, full size wheel covers and new Goodyear Eagle tires with a new full size spare. This car has the fail safe cooling and oil sensors. This vehicle has been very well maintained in service and in my ownership. All components work fine. The car has been repainted all poly blue after my purchase. One small flaw in the trunk area where a small amount of peeling occurred, but never saw the need to repair it. It has new brakes all around and runs like a charm. I am in no hurry to sell but am replacing it with a 2011 Taurus and have no need to have both cars. This car needs nothing done to it, but to be driven to a new home with a new and good owner. Please enjoy the pitchers and bid with confidence. The opening bid will be set at 2850.00 with no reserve. The buyer is responsible to pick up or have transported to there location. This car is presently in Saint Augustine Florida and has a clean and clear Title, Titled to National Assoc. of Storm Chasers and spotters |

Pickup sales may hit 2M units for first time since 2007
Sat, 21 Sep 2013Even as fuel prices creep back up, trucks are still a hot item among new-vehicle shoppers. To see how popular pickup trucks still are, you don't have to look any further than how much effort automakers put into the continual one-upmanship of their trucks. Backing this fact up, USA Today is reporting that the segment could top two million sales this year - a total not matched since 2007, though still far from the pre-recession, three-million-unit levels.
Through August, the Ford F-Series continues to be the segment leader with almost 500,000 units sold, but the Chevy Silverado (328,269), Ram 1500 (234,642), GMC Sierra (122,232) and Toyota Tacoma (110,293) are all seeing at least 20-percent sales increases, helping to account for around 1.44 million truck sales so far this year - not including possible outliers like the Suzuki Equator and Chevy Avalanche.
This year alone, General Motors has completely redesigned its fullsize trucks, Ram and Toyota have significantly updated their offerings, the next-gen Ford F-150 will be out next year and Nissan is promising an all-new Titan around the same time with an eventual Cummins diesel under the hood. It would seem, then, that truck sales are poised to continue their upward trend.
Ford unveils all-new 2016 F-650 and F-750 at NTEA
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Medium-duty work trucks might not be the most exciting vehicles, but they perform necessary jobs everyday. Ford is in the process of a complete refresh of its entire commercial vehicle lineup over the next 18 months, and it is debuting the all-new versions of its F-650 and F-750 trucks at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN.
"The all-new F-650/F-750 allow us to leverage our strengths and sales leadership in Classes 1 to 5 to create a better F-650/F-750 that's designed, engineered and built by Ford in the USA," said Ford spokesperson Mike Levine to Autoblog via email.
Huge amounts of torque is vital for trucks like these, and both models are offered with some of Fords biggest engines. Buyers can opt for either the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with TorqShift 6-speed automatic with available power takeoff or a gasoline-fueled 6.8-liter V10 with a 6-speed automatic. The V10 can also be ordered from the factory to be fueled by compressed natural gas or liquid propane gas.
2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.
