Up for auction is this great 2003 Ford P71 Police Interceptor. It is in great condition. Only has one area that's damaged. The front drivers side fender is damaged. I hydroplaned and bumped a guard rail. There is no other damage and the car is very solid. There are the usual scratches, dings, dents, and chips for a police car. There is also marks from the police decals. The interior looks near mint! There is also surface rust on the roof and in a few other spots. The damaged fender that I mentioned above also has rusted through at the bottom. Mechanically the car runs great and only has approx. 122,000 miles on it. The engine runs smooth, and the transmission shifts smoothly. May need new brake pads and may need a set on new tires for winter. This is great solid car with many years of life left in it! Clear and clean title. I have the title in hand! Buyer is responsible for any inspections and is responsible for shipping. $500.00 deposit due with in 24 hours of auction close and full payment is due with in 7 days of auction close, unless other arrangements are made. Bill Ford augments his power by nearly doubling stake of supervoting shares
Fri, 28 Jun 2013Bill Ford Jr. has more sway than ever over the automaker that bears his surname, as the great-grandson of Ford's founder has reportedly doubled is holdings of Class B Ford stock. According to a report from Reuters (which cites a newly discovered securities filing), he acquired some 3.7 million Class B shares from an unnamed family member.
Class B shares of Ford stock are held by descendants of Henry Ford and offer expanded voting power to their holders - Bill Ford Jr. now controls roughly 11.5 percent of the total Class B pool. Ford Jr. is also a one of five trustees that manage a voting trust that oversees the majority of these "supervoting" shares. In total, Reuters reports there are 71 million Class B shares that account for 40 percent of the voting power in the company, despite making up just 2 percent of the total volume of all Ford stock.
Ford Jr. served as Ford's CEO until 2006, when he stepped down to hire and make space for current CEO, Alan Mulally. The move to consolidate Ford family voting power, at least somewhat, is seen by many as a comforting sign with Mulally's departure from the company likely to happen in the next several years.

If you disagree with us, we suggest you have a look at this 1990 Mustang Coupe, which just might change your mind. Although considering just how extensively modified this car - the Top Notch Mustang from Creations n' Chrome - is, we wonder just how much Ford is left in this old pony.
It rides on a custom race tube chassis that weighs a scant 700 pounds, while carbon-fiber bits and bobs help lower the overall curb weight to a mere 2,400 pounds. When paired with supercharged, 5.0-liter, Aluminator V8 from Ford Racing, the results are, doubtlessly, exciting. 855 horsepower at the rear wheels and 667 pound-feet of torque are available from that force-fed V8 should be just plenty for this car's intended purpose of running in standing-mile competitions.
The Top Notch Mustang is more extreme than just weight savings and a big engine, though. That 5.0-liter is essentially in what's known as a front-mid layout - where the engine is actually behind the front axle. In this case, the 5.0-liter V8 is 17 inches further back than a factory Fox-body, for better weight distribution. As a result, the cabin has been completely overhauled. An SLA front suspension, wheels from HRE, Wilwood brakes and Sparco interior items round out the extensive list of mods.
