This Car was a former Federal Government vehicle never used in Police service. I added the The following, factory aluminum Ford Lacey rims, Remote start, MP3 Ford CD radio. It has the engine & Tanny oil cooler, aluminum drive shaft duel exhaust. No spot light nor does it have a million holes drilled in it from equipment. Its color is Arizona Beige with the Tan administrative interior option, this combo and this interior is rare on interceptors. Most came with the basic Police pattern interior darker colored grey, blue or black Buckets and vinyl rear seats. There is little to no wear to the interior it's close to perfect. It seems to have never been smoked in. I covered the interior with blankets and towels most of the time. I was informed when I purchased it that it was a supervisors car and by the options on it that seems correct. It has the Street appearance option, chrome grille and door handles and chrome tail lights & trunk trim. It has Cruise control, Power windows, power (Heated ) mirrors, Rear defroster, Power drivers seat, Power locks, Power release gas cap door, tilt wheel, Summons dome light. it has 87,000 easy miles, this is nothing on a car like this, it runs like it has 10K miles. It had 42,000 miles when I purchased it in 2005. I have always over maintained this car w/Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter every 3000 miles, it has never burned a drop of oil. No oil leaks. Transmission shifts perfectly and was just serviced for the 2nd time at every 20K miles. Fuel filter has been changed 3 X. Always used highest octane fuel, 4 New Good/Year Tires and new rear brakes & rotors less than 1000 miles ago. New windshield. This car runs perfect and drives smooth and tight, and very comfortable. A/C is ice cold. The original full size spare tire has never been used and is still brand new. I maintained it mechanically as I wanted to keep it forever. It passes emissions inspection like a new car. Its one of the nicest optioned Interceptors that I have come across. Its not a perfect car and not mint but very clean has some minor paint wear, it has its few chips and small bumper scuffs from parking lot assholes. I purchased a 07 Fed car that's the only reason it's being offered.

What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name
Thu, 07 Aug 2014
The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?
Shelby GT500 and Roush Stage 3 go head to head at the drag strip
Wed, 07 Aug 2013The Ford Mustang is a brilliantly affordable source of horsepower, with a base 300-plus-horsepower version available for well under $30,000. Jumping up to about $35,000 will get you a solid 420 horsepower from a high-revving V8, while those with some extra disposable income can get a pair of 600-plus-horsepower monsters. Both the Roush Stage 3 with its Phase 3 package and Ford's factory Shelby GT500 even crest the 650-horsepower mark, with 675 and 662 ponies, respectively.
Naturally, someone needed to find out which of these hi-po Mustangs was the quickest. And while this video is quite obviously a dealership commercial, at least there's some solid drag racing between two of the most powerful performance machines available for under $100,000.
With two NHRA drag racers at the wheel, the Stage 3 and GT500 go head to head for three races. Scroll down below to see the results in the full video.
