One owner low mileage 1990 Ford Ltd Crown Victoria LX with only 56,688 miles!

This car is from an estate and is in very nice condition. Considered a classic (over 25 years old) and qualifies for classic plates and insurance which is under $200 per year. Low mileage and well maintained. 5.0 liter fuel injected V8 engine and automatic overdrive transmission. Rides great & excellent gas mileage.

Loaded with options: power brakes, power steering, power windows (one doesn't open), cruise control, air conditioning (needs a charge), AM/FM cassette, alloy wheels, power door locks, power driver seat, rear window defroster, remote trunk release. Nice straight body with absolutely no rust, vinyl top in beautiful shape, no cracks or rips in the interior. Gas gauge reads empty when it's not but it's only $90 for a new fuel sender. A few little things to do and you have yourself a great reliable car for $2700.  I would feel comfortable driving it anywhere.

Overall in great shape for the age. Priced to sell at $2700 or best offer

NADA Values
Average retail $3795
High retail $5527

I also have a 1988 Mercury Colony Park wagon for sale.  Any questions you can call Joe 201-577-2683

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.

Bill Ford op-ed argues we can't just build and sell more of the same cars

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

It's hardly a secret that the auto industry is undergoing an enormous, tectonic shift in the way it thinks, builds cars and does business. Between alternative forms of energy, a renewed focus on low curb weights and aerodynamic bodies, the advent of driverless and autonomous cars and the need to reduce the our impact on the environment, it's very likely that the car that's built 10 years down the line will be scarcely recognizable when parked next to the car from 10 years ago.
Few people are as able to explain the industry's many upcoming changes and challenges as clearly as William Clay Ford, Jr., better known as Bill Ford. The 57-year-old currently sits as the executive chairman of the company his great-grandfather, Henry Ford, founded over 110 years ago.
In an op-ed piece in The Wall Street Journal (subscription required), Ford explains that the role of automakers is, necessarily, going to change to suit the needs of the future world. That means changing the view of not just the automobile, but the automaker. As Ford explains it, automakers will "move from being just car and truck manufacturers to become personal-mobility companies."

2015 Ford F-150 enters production

Wed, 12 Nov 2014

Ford has given the F-150 a dramatic makeover for 2015, switching to an aluminum body that helps reduce weight by about 700 pounds. Because the truck is dramatically different, Ford also had to change the way it makes the F-150, so we went inside its sprawling factory in Dearborn, MI, this week to see the Blue Oval's new manufacturing techniques in action.
The company has added 850 jobs at the site and upgraded its stamping and tool and die facilities. The body shop is also modernized, and it has been fitted with 500 new robots that join the structures together. The first 2015 F-150 rolled off the line on Tuesday, and the trucks will begin arriving in dealerships in December. Get a closer look at the F-150's unique assembly process in our video.
