About 8 years ago I got this Bronco, had it painted, and began putting some new parts on it and upgrading parts as they broke.
My intentions were to build a trail truck that can be driven on the street. It's street manners are not perfect, but I have driven it at interstate speeds to club events and just cruising. It could easily be improved with an alignment and a tighter steering box. The 4.56 gears and C4 transmission make it run around 2800 to 3200 rpms on the interstate.
This is not a "restored" Bronco, and has been driven on the trail., so expect some scuffs, and scrapes and minor rust. The tub is solid and professionally sprayed with LINEX in the passenger compartment. The doors are not the best fitting doors but they do close and seal. These are the doors with the removable window frame. One of the window frames is starting to crack (see Pictures) but could easily be welded. Wheels and tires show some trail scars. Tires have Dyna Beads in them for Balancing... was tired of losing wheel weights on the trails. Best Top Soft top with Tinted windows. Top is in really good condition except for two small tears shown in the pictures, which could be fixed.
It is a 67 Truck with Dana 44 Front and Big Bearing 9 inch Rear axle. Dana 20 Transfer Case with Twin Stick Shifters. 6 point roll bar with a sound bar. Protofab front bumper with winch and rear bumper with Tire Carrier. Has provision on it to add the gas can carrier on the other side of the Bumper. I have a clear Virginia Title. I also have a couple of "take off" parts that will go with the truck. The Fuel system is done with the "Low Pressure, Accumulator high pressure pump" setup. It has dual gas tanks with an "unconventional" switching set up. The truck will run off of either tank, but while running off of the smaller tank the return lines return to the main tank. So in short, you can run off the small tank for a little while, but then have to switch back to the main tank, because the fuel has been transferred back over to the Main Tank... I just never bought a Switching port that had provisions for the return Lines. The main tank is a 23 Gallon Tank.
Below is a list of some parts that are on the truck:
Speed density 5.0L Fuel injected Engine out of a mustang
Warn 9.5 winch
36x13.50x15 Radial IROKs with a Bias Ply Spare that has never been on the street.
C4 Transmission
4.56 Gears with Detroit Locker Front and rear
31 Spline rear axels
5.5 James duff Suspension LIft with extended radius arms
1 inch wildhorses body lift
Twin Stick Shifter for transfer case Manual locking Hubs
James duff Diff guards
BC Broncos Steering Links
Power Steering
Hydroboost brakes - Front Disc, Rear drum
Linex interior
1 inch wildhorses body lift
Buyer is 100% Responsible for Pickup. I have a trailer so I can deliver or meet someone within approx. 80 Miles of Richmond Virginia for a small fee.

Jaguar design boss admits X-Type was a mistake
Thu, 19 Sep 2013History has a way of repeating itself, especially in the auto industry. When Jaguar was owned by Ford, the British brand attempted to field a competitor for the BMW 3 Series, called the X-Type. Based on the bones of a Ford Mondeo, it aped the styling of Jaguar's flagship model, the XJ, while borrowing liberally from the Ford parts bin. That was 2001.
Now, in 2013, Jaguar is planning a new 3 Series challenger based on the platform previewed by the C-X17 Concept, while Ford is attempting to take the latest Mondeo upmarket. The moves have both brands recognizing where, why, and how the X-Type failed. "It didn't look mature or powerful or anything. It was just a car," Jaguar's current head of advanced design, Julian Thomson, told PistonHeads. Basing the X-Type on a front-drive car while giving it styling that was meant for a rear-driver lead to proportions that "were plainly wrong," Thomson told PH. Ford's European head of quality, Gunnar Herrmann, added that the X-Type was "a fake Jaguar, because every piece I touch is Ford."
For what it's worth, the X-Type's successor in the segment will sport rear-drive, with plenty of input from Ian Callum. Thomson described the new model, which would challenge the 3 Series as having, "Big wheels right to the ends of the car, low bonnet, short overhangs, very low cabins." Sounds good to us.
2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.
Ford F-100 'Snakebit' shown off by Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed at SEMA
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Ford, along with KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his wife, Shannon Tweed, used SEMA as a backdrop to pull the covers off Snakebit, a 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck that's been updated with Shelby Mustang-derived styling bits and a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine. All 550 horsepower are funneled through a six-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.
Underneath the custom bodywork sits a chassis that's been stretched five inches and a bed widened and bedecked with billet machined pieces that are supposed to look like wood. The 20-inch rear and 18-inch front wheels ape those of past Shelby Mustang models. The interior is swathed in two-tone leather with a bench seat designed to look - try to act surprised - like a Shelby Mustang.
Like what you see? Bidding for the truck will take place in 2014 at an unspecified Barrett-Jackson event (we'd assume Scottsdale). Proceeds will be used to help build a children's hospital in Saskatoon, in the province of Saskatchewan, where Ms. Tweed grew up. See the high-res gallery above and the press release down below for more.
