1977 Early Bronco 1/2 cab conversion (steel, not fiberglass) 4x4. 302 V-8 truck/suv with automatic, power steering and brakes (front disk). This is a half cab conversion Bronco (if anyone tries to sell you a 73 or later true half-cab, there is no such thing!!). This is a running driving project. Colorado car, has been here for most, if not all its life. Last owner had for 16 years, and the owner before him had the truck for many years also. This is the last year of the early Bronco. It runs and drives, but the body needs some love. The floor boards and body panels, like most broncos, are rusted. There has been previous work to the the body and it is starting to show. The fender flares need to be updated and the rockers need attention. The tailgate at some point was welded for a cleaner look, but to bring it back to original, it should be put back to stock. Lots of nickel and dime issues. Colorado does not use salt on the roads, the frame is fine, just the typical parts of the bronco that need attention. It does have a locker in the rear end and a lift. It's got so much potential but an owner doesn't have the time to bring it back to it's former glory. I have more pics if needed. Muscle wins big at 2013 Amelia Island Concours as 1936 Duesenberg, 1968 Ford GT40 take top honors

The 18th-annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took place this past weekend, and in one of the show's biggest years yet (bringing in more than 25,000 spectators and attracting more than 300 vehicles), two powerhouses ended up winning the judges' hearts. The top Concours d'Elegance award went to a 1936 Duesenberg SJN, while the Concours de Sport went to one of the celebrated marques, a 1968 Ford GT40.
Owned by Helen and Jack Nethercutt of Sylmar, CA, this flawless Duesy is described as "one of the most powerful open cars of the 1930s," and it displays design cues of the era like rolled fenders and a tapered rear end. The SJN's supercharged straight-eight allowed it to accelerate to 100 miles per hour in just 17 seconds - surely not a disappointing feat for its day.
On a much different level of performance and timelessness, this Gulf-livery GT40 from the Rocky Mountain Auto Collection is not outdone by the elegance of the big Duesenberg thanks to some well-documented racing history. This not only includes winning at LeMans in both 1968 and 1969 - Chassis No. 1075 also managed to win a total of six times in just 11 races.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]

For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
