Custom Bronco 1995 In Sc on 2040-cars
Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States
With regret I am listing my Bronco for sale only because I need a work truck.
This is the next to the last year for the big Broncos. It has custom paint, cowl induction hood, flowmaster muffler, Griffin aluminum radiator, manual lock out hubs 5.0 fuel injected engine (good gas mileage and power), auto trans, cold ac, Sony cd player, Reese style hitch, trailer brake controller, chrome step bumper, billet grille, alloy wheels, 35" tires, 3" body lift (rubber extensions to stock body mounts that are easily removed), chrome tube steps, fold and tumble rear seat, front brakes recently replaced. My wife drives this Bronco often and I would not hesitate to take it anywhere. The good:) The truck starts every time and runs well. I have taken many trips and never had any problems. It runs cool in all traffic with the Griffin radiator (custom built for this truck). The 4wd works well. The lock out hubs give less wear on the drive line than full time 4wd. The lift is body only and easily removed. The power tailgate window works well, but I am missing the key for the rear and you must operate it from inside. You can replace this easily, I just use the inside switch. The suspension is stock and so it handles well. It looks even cooler in person than in the pics! If you don't want to be noticed, this is not the truck for you! The Bad:( I recently hit the driver side with my trailer and left a small dent over the tire, easily repaired, I haven't had time to take it. There are some small dings and scratches normal to a daily driver, but not many. There is some minor brake dust discoloring on the front wheels which may polish off. Recently, a few small rust bubbles have shown up on the bottom of the tailgate. This is the only rust I have found. There is a small bad place on the side of the drivers seat. The tires need replacing. This isn't a show truck, but it could easily be one! Vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end auction early, so the more quickly the bids reach my reserve, the more likely you are to win the Bronco! One last thing, I am not a dealer, but my father is. I would like to let him do the title work. There will be no charge to the buyer for this. |

Ford GT to be revived, Le Mans battle upcoming
Sun, 05 Oct 2014Ford dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1966 to 1969, scoring four consecutive wins. Wouldn't it be great if the Blue Oval could go back to France for the 50th anniversary of that performance and show it can still compete in international endurance racing? Actually, the latest rumors indicate that could be exactly the case, and the car taking that checkered flag could be another revival of the Ford GT.
As the rumblings go, Ford wants to use a new supercar to take another crack at Le Mans, after considering some other possible alternatives. Substantiating these musings are reports that a Blue Oval rep was reportedly on hand for a recent meeting about 2016 GTE-Class rules, according to Road and Track. That would put the new GT in the same racing class as the Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche 911 and others.
It's not all about racing, though. If you win on Sunday, you want something to be able to sell on Monday. The revived GT is reportedly still a mid-engine supercar, but the exact engine is unclear. It's possible that it could even be shown or announced at the Detroit auto show in January, according to Motor Trend.
2014 Ford Fiesta ST priced from $21,400* [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The 2014 model year brings a whole host of changes to Ford's Fiesta B-Segment fighter, the most important of which (to our enthusiast eyes, anyway) is the addition of a potent new ST model. The US-spec hot hatch was first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and thanks to Ford's build-and-price site, we've now learned that the Fiesta ST will slide in at $21,400 when it goes on sale later this year (*not including $795 for destination).
Under the hood of the ST is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four good for 197 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford hasn't released performance data on its pint-sized puncher just yet, but know that these numbers make the Fiesta ST ever-so-slightly more powerful than the larger Volkswagen GTI while returning an estimated 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the standard Fiesta also gets a smattering of improvements for the 2014 model year, including a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and revised exterior styling. Pricing for the 2014 Fiesta sedan starts at $14,000, with the five-door model adding $600 to that number (again excluding the $795 destination fee).
Next Shelby Mustang to wear GT350 nameplate
Fri, 21 Jun 2013Earlier this month, rumors started to swirl 'round the web about the next-generation Ford SVT Mustang - the halo version of the all-new 2015 'Stang seen testing in the gallery above. Originally, we heard that the Shelby GT500 moniker would be dumped in favor of "a name you're familiar with," which some sources guessed could mean a return of the Cobra nameplate.
That might not be correct. According to Road & Track, citing a report from Mustangs Daily, the new range-topping Mustang will bring back the Shelby GT350 name - currently used on an aftermarket version of Ford's Pony produced by Shelby American (take a look at our recent Quick Spin of that car). Expect the new GT350 to be quite a bit different than the current GT500 - it will be all motor, using a V8 that's derived from the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote engine (though it will no doubt have a higher displacement). The GT350 will be a lot more powerful than the next Mustang GT, which is expected to offer something like 450 horsepower, but won't be quite as absurd as the 662-horsepower GT500 we currently enjoy.
The Shelby GT350 will reportedly bow with the rest of the new Mustang range at the 2014 New York Auto Show, which coincides exactly with the original Mustang's debut at the New York World's Fair in 1964. If that seems far out, don't worry, we'll be seeing the rest of the 2015 Mustang range before then, but Road & Track reports that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show stage will be reserved for the reveal of the next Ford F-150 pickup.
