I am selling a super nice ford bronco that looks, runs and drives like new. It has the 5.8 with the tow package and automatic transmission. It has the push button 4x4 and has been converted to manual lockouts which are new. The truck has fresh paint and new metal arches installed over the rear wheels where it had some minor rust. There is a 2inch lift which consists of new rough country coils in the front and add a leaf in the rear. The front has the factory quad shock set up with all new Monroe shocks in the front and rear. The exhaust is stock and is also new. The braking system is ALL new, rotors, lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, drums, pads, shoes and hardware. The a/c blows ice cold and has a new a/c condenser (300.00). The starter has been replaced along with the battery and cables. Both radius arm brackets have been replaced along with all front end parts including wheel bearings and EVERY u-joint in the truck. It has a fresh front end alignment and goes down the road straight as an arrow with NO rattles or wind noise. The rear window goes up and down as it should with both the switch on the dash and the outside key switch.I replaced the tailgate handle along with the weather strips in the tailgate. The interior on this truck is perfect and has no rips, tears or worn spots. The stereo is a kenwood cd player with detachable face. There is a remote starter and also an alarm as well. The tires are BF Goodrich 31x10.50x15 and have less then 2000 miles on them. The wheels are stock aluminum 10 hole and are in excellent condition. I am sure that I am forgetting a few things that I have replaced but if you have any questions just email me and I will answer the same day. I wanted this truck like new and it is. I am only selling it because of unexpected health reasons. If you are a Bronco guy you will love this truck! Oh yes, it also has a new tinted front windshield. I am putting a reserve on the truck because I do have a chunk of money invested in the truck because everything done was done by a shop. Almost forgot brand new rear driveshaft (300.00). I would drive this truck anywhere with no worries. Buyer responsible for shipping or I will pick you up at the closest airport if you want to fly in and drive home. Thanks and happy bidding!!

Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest
Tue, 01 Apr 2014New truck! Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show has been searching for the perfect new truck for a few weeks now, soliciting help from all corners in the process. Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.
Watch Fallon make his pick and introduce the dealer reps below, and be sure to click on the second video for a live-streaming feed of Fingers on a 4x4 in action (the contest seems to be going strong).
The U-2 spy plane needs high-performance cars to help land
Thu, Oct 15 2015Typically, aircraft deploy their landing gear from three main points. Most military aircraft, for example, deploy two gears at the back and one forward, like a tricycle. Some civilian aircraft flip the layout, with two in front and one in back - tail-draggers. The U-2 Dragon Lady is wildly different than any of these. With a 103-foot wingspan but a body that's just 63-feet long, the layout of the U-2 makes a traditional landing setup infeasible. Instead, the U-2 utilizes a pair of wheels, one up front and one in back. With such a bizarre layout, landings are so tough that since the U-2's earliest flights at Area 51, the US Air Force has used high-performance chase cars to guide the pilot down safely. The landing process isn't over there, though. As this video from Sploid shows, balancing out the aircraft to fit the detachable "pogos" – think training wheels for spy planes – is a comical procedure requiring a number of airman using their full body weight to even out the U-2. This video also recaps some of the great vehicles that have served as chase vehicles for this legendary spy plane. They include Chevrolet El Caminos, and the Fox-body Ford Mustangs so favored by the California Highway Patrol. For the last several years, the USAF has utilized products from General Motors, using fourth-generation Chevy Camaros, before switching over to the Pontiac GTO and most recently, the awesome Pontiac G8. It's fair to say that if you're a gearhead in the Air Force, this is the job you want. Check out the video, embedded up top.
