I am selling this 1992 Bronco. Here is the story behind this truck. I own a business and came across this old bronco from a charity auction. The guys in my shop at my business wanted to fix it up just to have a project to do. I have a bunch of enthusiastic hobbyist that work for me.  We brought it to my shop and over the course of a year the guys worked on it. I didn't mind because it was a bonding experience. Here's what was done. Here's what was done to it. The motor, trans and transfer case were pulled out. One of the guys that rebuilds engines tore the motor down and put it back together with new gaskets and a new oil pump. That's it. Then one guy had a friend who worked at aamco transmissions and had him tear apart the transmission and transfer case and replace what was wrong, clean it, and put them back together. Then the drive shafts were sent out to be rebalanced and worked on. While all of that was out, the inderneath was powerwashed and undercoated by one of the guys. He also cleaned and sporayed under the hood before putting the motor back in. The truck was painted by one of the guys that knows body work. When the engine was put back in the guys had me buy new fuel injectors, starter, water pump, alternator, 4 core radiator, hoses, belt and tune up parts.  One guy recomended that we get a new computer along with new sensors, and get the dashboard rebuilt because it needed to be done, so we did all of that. Most of the exhaust is new because I remember buying a magnaflow crossover pipe and other exhaust parts. Remember, I am just the money guy here and the guys in the shop just asked for parts and I got them. One guy took apart the automatic hubs and rebuilt them and put on new front bearings. He also had all of the rotors and hubs cut and put all new brakes all around. He also replaced some flexible hoses and the master cylinder. Then we put on new shocks all around, I remember ordering six of them. new tires and wheels were put on and the rims were ordered in 17 inch. Then the guys ordered a pushbar from a 02 navigator and custom welded that on and put on some extra KC lighting. Then they put on a new spare with cover. Then the guys changed the fuel pump and put in new headlights. Finally they go online and order this valve body for the transmission called "the punisher" which makes it shift hard and fast. So when it's all done I get it inspected by the state and everything passes, so I get it registered and tagged. I'm driving this truck around for a week and it's just not my style. You have to remember that I'm a 50 year old owner of a chemical company that is used to driving luxury vehicles. I drove it afew times from atlantic city to philadelphia and it drives like a tank. It does 70 miles an hour somewhat smooth but not like my luxury car. So now it just sits in my back parking lot and the kids play in it like its a swing set. Yesterday my nephews are in it and they jarred something in the drivers side door that unhooked some linkage. You have to roll down the power window to unlock it from outside and then roll up the window and close the door. So I decided to put it up for sale. Now remember, none of the work was done by a certified shop so I am not saying that this is some over exagerated perfect automobile that was fully and professionally restored. But these guys did put there heart into it. The interior is in great shape with no rips tears or stains. I have about 12,000 dollars in parts into it plus the labor that I did pay the guys after hours to work on it. I'm just looking to get some of my money back. It was a fun experience haveing everyone involved in a shop project. Everything that I know I have just put into words. You can call me before buying with questions: 609-374-5330 I can assist with shipping. Thanks for looking.

2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition says 'happy birthday' in New York

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Fifty years ago this week, Ford debuted the first-ever Mustang at the New York World's Fair. And to celebrate, the Blue Oval is offering up this special, 50th Anniversary Edition 2015 Mustang, which makes its debut at the New York Auto Show. It'll be a seriously limited affair, with only 1,964 examples of the special edition Mustang slated to be produced (the number chosen to coincide with the 'Stang's first year in production). But for those who raise their hands for the 50th Anniversary package, there's a pretty sweet package in store.
The 50th Anniversary Edition is based on the 2015 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack, and is only available in two colors: Kona Blue, or Wimbledon White (pictured). The car also comes fully loaded - the only option for buyers to choose is the transmission. Should you opt for the six-speed automatic, you'll get a limited-slip rear differential with a 3.55:1 final-drive ratio (the 50th Anniversary car is also the only way to get a slushbox-equipped 'Stang with the Performance Pack). Selecting the six-speed manual 'box will net you a Torsen differential with a 3.73:1 ratio. All 50th Anniversary cars will be powered by Ford's 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8, estimated to produce more than 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque in the 2015 Mustang.
Inside, there's a cashmere-stitched, leather-wrapped steering wheel, with a similar detail found on the instrument panel, shift boot, door inserts, seats, and center armrest. Two-tone leather/black upholstery is also part of the 50th Anniversary package, and of course, there's a special logo on the seats.

First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.
