This Bronco is in really exceptional shape and has been garaged kept for at least 8 yrs. All sheet metal is original and undercarriage and frame is immaculate with only very light surface rust showing. The interior is excellent shape also, with the front seats showing wear, but no tears. The truck has a 4" Rancho Long Arm Lift that rides pretty good on the highway, but certainly is not a Lincoln. Tires are 31" Goodyears recently purchased. It had 33" tires buy took them off to save some gas. As you can see in the photos, the Door jams, rockers and insides of doors are perfect and show no signs of rust. Tailgate window goes up and down with no problems from inside switch, however tailgate key switch needs replacement. Also, as you can see in Photos, the switches for the (working)rear defroster and window switch are detached from Plastic trim. Can be epoxied or just replace trim piece. The only rust is light surface on the drivers side rear quarter above wheel in small area. This is still very solid and the rust just began and can be easily saved. Of course, like all Broncos, the tailgate does have rust that was repaired(not real well) by the previous owner. The 5.0 Liter engine is very dependable and I use this as my daily driver, although when shined up it gets huge attention! There is a newer K&N Air kit and throttle body spacer as well as a single cat back exhaust. Sounds like there is an exhaust leak around the passenger side Exhaust manifold but I never looked into it. 4 Wheel drive system works perfectly, push button with Lock-out Hubs. The EGR valve is faulty, so on occasion, the truck stalls. I never went through trouble shooting each of the three parts to the EGR valve that may be bad and didnt feel like spending the $125.00 for the complete part. The engine runs good, but does have over 100,000 miles on it, so the 190HP it came with is not there anymore....... not that that was alot to begin with. OBVIOUSLY this is a 22 year old truck with no warranties expressed or implied..Vehicle is being sold AS IS / Where is. Forgot to mention: Truck has 4.11 gears and is Posi. Driver side window needs Regulator or motor(motor sounds like it is working)

Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]
Thu, 26 Jun 2014With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
