1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 351 Windsor 4x4 No Reserve!!! on 2040-cars

Year:1990 Mileage:132000 Color: paint needs attention on hood and roof
Location:

Seminole, Florida, United States

Seminole, Florida, United States

Up for auction is my 1990 Eddie Bauer Bronco - 1 family vehicle (2 owners), runs great! It was purchased new from Woody Anderson Ford in Alabama in April of 1990; I also have the majority of service records available with the vehicle. The factory 351 was replaced with a re-manufactured 351 from Fred Jones mfg at 51,300 miles in Oct of 1995 by Woody Anderson Ford; so the engine currently has around 80k miles on it - other than that no major mechanical issues. Routine oil maintenance done on a strict schedule (small oil leak from somewhere - not major). Vehicle never driven in snow - has spent the majority of its life in FL. Recently went through the A/C and had it tuned and charged; air blows cold. Truck has brand new tires. The paint on the hood and the roof of the vehicle is in need of attention, but the paint other than that is in good condition for its age and has been hand waxed at least 3 times a year by me. Interior is in good condition with the exception of the headliner which has some tears it received from fishing rod tips. Has an upgraded audio system with a head unit which will support auxiliary input (it is also wired for additional speakers if desired). All electrical components work (windows, lights, cruise, etc). The exhaust has some signs of age and will need to be worked on. Front windshield has a recent crack on the passenger side. Some options from the factory: limited slip rear and front axle, axle ratio (4.10:1), automatic overdrive transmission, manual locking hubs).

This bronco has been my baby and I drive it every day - but I am in a position where I will need to be commuting more often and I made the decision to replace it with a different vehicle. I would love to keep it but I know that someone will make good use of the vehicle and enjoy it just like I have.

Please, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the vehicle do not hesitate to contact me. It is available to see in person most of the time. Winning bidder will be responsible for transportation of the vehicle.

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.

Unrestored 1969 Shelby GT500 one of many classic barn finds going to auction

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

We love a good barn find here at Autoblog. We like that there's a palpable excitement and sense of mystery surrounding barn finds. Each case has its own uniqueness to it, and this latest discovery is no different: an unrestored, one-owner 1969 Shelby GT500 with just 8,531 miles on it.
In the case of this particular barn find, many of the typical questions have already been answered. For example, we know who owned it - his name was Larry Brown. He recently passed away, and as he had no wife or children to inherit the estate, the car he purchased at Pennsylvania Ford dealer in May of 1969, will be auctioned off by Ron Gilligan Auctioneers.
The car was fastidiously maintained, having never been driven in the rain. In fact, Brown never even washed it, out of fear of it rusting. According to the auction website, the last time this car saw water was probably when it was detailed ahead of being delivered to Brown. If that doesn't sound like a fanatical sense of maintenance on the part of this GT500's owner, this next part will. The interior has been treated to a similarly painstaking attempt at preservation, with garbage bags covering the seats and two layers of floor mats over the carpets. The result is a car that, aesthetically, is in remarkable shape considering it's spent so long in a barn.
