1989 Ford F Series Bronco XLT. I am the original owner. The Bronco is current on registration in Calif. The Bronco is listed as a model 1989 and the information plate on door jamb shows 9/88 as year manufactured (picture of information plate included above). This Bronco runs and drives good. The Bronco has original paint in fair condition and shows usual wear and one noticeable dent on right rear fender shown in picture, and scratches. The upholstery is original except a few years back had a new headliner and sun visors done, and the driver's seat is worn. The Bronco was ordered with factory limited slip front and back.

Bill Ford wins National Pond Hockey Championship with employees

This past weekend, Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, and a group of employees trekked up to Eagle River, WI for a few games of pond hockey. Team Ford took part in the 2014 Labatt Blue/USA Pond Hockey Championship, capturing its fifth title in the 50+ Tier 1 Division.
"It feels great to win," Ford, who plays on the team alongside other Ford employees, told the USA Hockey website. "It was fun to play [River Valley Pioneers] because they're great guys and we play them every year. We finally beat them, which we were due. It was a very clean game, a tough game."
The FoMoCo team managed to score seven goals to River Valley's two, and went undefeated in all five of its games during the tourney. Take a look below for the official press release on Team Ford's win.
Ford recalling nearly 5,700 2014 F-150s for power steering issue
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Ford is recalling 5,675 of its 2014 F-150 pickups over an issue with the electric power steering system. There haven't been any injuries or accidents due to the issue.
Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Autoblog that the "electric power-assisted steering and motor position sensor gear were incorrectly installed by a supplier," leading to the recall.
While the recall is larger on the surface, it's important to note that only 260 trucks have been delivered to customers. The remaining pickups are currently en route to dealers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 26 and June 19.
Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
