Back in ’86 if you wanted this 3rd Generation Bronco with fuel injection, you could only get it with the tried and true 5.0 liter V8.  The 351cu engines still could only be had with carburetors. And I never gave it a second thought when driving a carb’d version until I drove this truck.  It is worlds better than those old carburetors, especially when driving one 28 years later! This engine runs perfect, starts instantly and has no hesitations or stumbles.  The transmission shifts perfectly also, with nothing to report except happy cruising.  The truck is tight and quiet, as you would expect a truck with such low mileage to behave.

Physically, this truck is about as good as it’s going to get if you are looking for a Bronco of this vintage. Aside from a few rock chips and some hairline light scratches on the tailgate, this XLT is MINT!  The Original Paint has No dents or scuffs, no fading of paint, no acid rain etching. It looks as good in the pictures as it does in person.

This XLT is equipped with a Limited Slip Rear, Power windows and door locks, tilt wheel, cruise, amfm cassette, underhood auxiliary light that extends and captains chairs with dual armrests. The interior, as you will see looks gorgeous.  The digital clock works, the radio works great! The power windows all go up and down quickly and quietly. The truck is amazing!

If you are a collector, especially a Ford collection you should seriously take a look at  this truck or have it inspected.  Take a look at the pictures and you will be amazed!

I am more than happy to bring this XLT to any local Ford Dealer and have them inspect it for you, at your cost.

Ford spotted testing new Focus RS at the Nurburgring

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Ford is expected to be launching a revised version of the Focus ST soon, but the latest snapshots from our spy photographers at the Nürburgring suggest that the Blue Oval is already working on an even more potent example: the new Focus RS.
Though the partially disguised test mule is wearing an ST badge (along with a Dewey sticker that makes us wonder what adventures Huey and Louie are up to and what manner of duck-tail rear spoiler they may be wearing), there are several tell-tale signs that something else is afoot here. There's a larger front air dam, bigger brake calipers, dual exhaust tips (instead of the central exhaust on the ST) and a reshaped wing protruding from the trailing edge of the roof.
That may all be well and fine, but what's under the hood? We don't know yet for sure, but word has it that Ford is preparing to port over the 2.3-liter turbo four offered in the new Mustang, where it packs 305 horsepower and almost as much torque - potentially retuned to produce even more for the top-of-the-line Focus, which could channel it all to the front wheels like the last model or pack an all-wheel drive system. The Global C platform on which the Focus is based does, after all, also underpin AWD models like the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC.

Petrolicious pays visit to tuning sensation the Ringbrothers

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible shown on Twitter [UPDATE w/video]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

It hasn't yet been 12 hours since the hotly anticipated 2015 Ford Mustang has been let out into public view. After a series of evocative leaks over the course of the last days, we brought you a full deep dive of the sixth-generation pony car at the dawning of today. And yet, here we are rushing to bring you news of a new Mustang variant, already.
Be it part of a plan to keep the Mustang fervor at full boil, or a misunderstood email somewhere in the chain of command, Ford UK has unceremoniously tweeted a picture of the 2015 Ford Mustang Convertible. For a newly global Mustang, getting our first look at the droptop from the convertible-crazy British does make some amount of sense.
As for details, well, you're looking at them. Brandon Turkus reported yesterday that the Mustang 'vert would make use of a fully electric convertible mechanism, and that it would be of fabric construction rather than some kind of retractable hardtop. We see here that the fabric part is clearly true, and it does look as though Ford may still be employing the same kind of manually attached tonneau cover that exists right now. Of course, our view from this angle isn't great, and the particulars are still up in the air.
