For sale is a 1979 ford bronco ranger xlt with a meyer snowplow on it. Truck shows 115 and some change on odometer. runs great many newer parts over last few years. I just bought this a few weeks ago to restore over time but i am changing my mind and would like to do a 66-77 bronco instead. The plow works great e 85 pump with a poly blade, 4wd works , 4spd, tires are ok mud terrain, the guy i bought the truck from gave me sandbags for it a dolly for the plow some original parts he replaced etc. he took realy good care of it while he owned it 10 or so years. he put the plow on it about 6 years ago for personnal use. The truck has rust typical bronco stuff but the floor and rocker areas are better than a lot i have seen, all stock drivetrain. It has the 6.6 liter motor headers on it, runs good it has been worked on in my opinion due to the block and heads being painted blue at some time .Rear glass is in it and works fine up and down, the truck has a body lift and small suspension lift newer coils in front but original rear packs and i noticed one leaf has broke and half is missing, gas tank and radiator replaced a few years ago battery is about 3 years old all guages work all interior except carpet, ignition replaced years ago from lmc trucks, driver side window hard to roll up or down but it does work. AC compressor off truck and alternator is 100 amp for plow. The plow lights work fine. I do have a reserve on truck of 3700.00 i paid 3600 plus title fees. I live in toledo ohio 419-266-5850 ask for Kevin. i do not want to trade for anything will not seperate plow from truck .

Xcar celebrates 100-year anniversary with Model T tribute
Fri, Jan 9 2015Never mind the fact that XCar hasn't been making videos for the last 100 years, the British duo have gone all silent-moving-pictures in order to make their centenary case for the Ford Model T, a car that was already seven years old in 1915. It's not a review, but a mostly sepia-tinged look at the car that started the mass-market adventure by taking that biblical advice to be fruitful and multiply and populate the Earth abundantly. Since it looks like Xcar is celebrating some kind of milestone, we've also included another video below of the first Xcar review we could find, covering the BMW M1, from the much more recent past - circa 2012.
Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes
Sun, 29 Dec 2013Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
Chris Harris pits Fiesta ST against Mercedes G63 AMG in 0-60 battle... sort of
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Vehicle performance tests are serious business, with reputations made or broken by things like braking distance, top speed, and lateral g-forces. King of the metrics, though, is the 0-60 run, which for unknown reasons has become the benchmark for what truly makes a car a performance machine.
Now, Chris Harris from Drive has turned the whole idea behind the sprint to 60 on its ear. Taking a new Ford Fiesta ST, Harris asks a simple question: would the ST be quicker to 60 on its own, or on a trailer being towed by a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG?
It's a fair question, really. The Fiesta Harris tested hit 60 in 7.2 seconds on a slightly uphill section of runway. It should be noted that Harris quotes his ST at 182 horsepower, which is about 15 ponies less than what we're getting in the US, so these numbers might not hold up all that well against an American model. The G63 AMG, meanwhile, is a 536-horsepower monster, powered by a twin-turbo V8 that, able to propel the big SUV to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds without towing a Fiesta.
