1979 Ford Bronco full size 4WD locking hubs with 4 way adjustable plow.  Vehicle has rust above both wheel wells and has Bondo.  Also has holes in the floor of the truck.  Truck has been used on my property to plow snow for last 8 years or so.  Motor starts and runs, but needs to warm up before it will stay running without hitting the gas.  it also bogs down if u hit the gas hard.  I am pretty sure the problem is vacuum related.  i am not a mechanic, so i just let it warm up.  it also has some play in the wheel, so i think both tie rod ends need replaced.  Tires have good tread and 4WD works well.  Has pretty large after marked American Racing rims.  Blower motor probably needs to be replaced, it makes a sqeeking sound but still works.  truck mostly sits, i recently got a tractor to plow snow with, so I no longer need the plow.  Plow goes up and down, and can pivot left and right.  Return spring for brake pedel is weak, so i have a bungie chord pulling brake pedal back up.  Truck has no back seat, and carpet was removed.  Has power back window and a trailer brake unit. A/C belt was removed, but it is inside the truck.  Belts are new because they were squeaking last year.  Has not been tuned up since i have owned it, but i change the oil every summer... i estimate it drives about 30 miles a year... mostly driving back and forth from the gas station.  Temp gauge doesn't work, but the rest of the gauges do work.  has a cheap aftermarket cassette radio, good enough to listen to while plowing.

Let me know if you have any questions, or want more pictures... U can either call me or email me though ebay.  815 277 six six seven eight.

Have a clear title, truck just needs a new owner who will give it more attention.

Update....    I took the truck out for a drive tonight.  I haven't started it in a 2 months, and with 5 pumps of the gas and a couple cranks it started right up.  I let it warm up, and drove it for about 4 miles.  It ran good, and i drove 60 mph no prob.  It seems it might have had some older gas, because i put some new gas in it and it ran great.  let me know if you have any questions....

probably be best if buyer comes out and takes a look, i don't think you will be dissappointed... I also want to be honest and let the buyer know exactly what they are getting.

Ford is building this sweet back-to-basics SUV in Brazil

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

We're use to forbidden fruit teasing us in Europe. Hatchbacks and diesels from Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Skoda, SEAT and Alfa Romeo have been a regular torment that we've grown accustomed to over the years. This vehicle, though, is one piece of forbidden fruit we aren't entirely sure we can get over. We need it.
It's called the Ford Troller T4, and if you accidentally read that as either "reborn Ford Bronco" or "Americanized Land Rover Defender," we wouldn't be rushing to correct you. It's a basic, badass SUV, and is the first new vehicle to come from Troller since Ford gobbled it up in 2007. For those with longer memories, you'll recognize this vehicle from the concept that preceded it, the Ford T-R Concept. The production model remains remarkably true to the T-R, as well as past Trollers, but it's a slightly more modern look overall, with LED taillights, contrasting colors
You'll have to bear with us on the details, as we've been forced to rely on the notoriously literal Google Translate to convert the original Portuguese into English, which means some of the details were lost along the way.

Hot Wheels Ford Transit Connect is worth more if we keep it in the box

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

If the 2014 Transit Connect is anything like it's utile current-generation predecessor, and we suspect it is, it will undoubtedly be one of the most functional vehicles in North America. Ford has used the occasion of SEMA to turn the TC in to things that both make use of that functionality, and occasionally sort of wreck it in the name of good old-fashioned fun. The Ford Hot Wheels Transit Connect most certainly falls into that second category.
Most TC owners might cite the vehicle's massive cargo capacity as its top positive trait, though in the case of this wide-bodied Transit said space has been sapped in the name of a 55-inch television screen, a massive Hot Wheels drag strip (continuing a popular theme at SEMA this year) and custom storage for dozens of models from one's personal hot wheels collection. Designers have also plucked the grippy Recaro seats from the Focus ST, and thrown in a pair of 18-inch tablet screens for connectivity on the go.
Naturally, the Transit Connect wouldn't be an appropriate SEMA vehicle, or Hot Wheels name-bearer, if it weren't wearing an eye-popping appearance package. Additional homage to the Focus RS can be found in the blazing blue and orange front fascia and bumpers, while 20-inch wheels make sure the wider (four-inches in front and six-inches in the back) Transit Connect sits just right. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder-engine that powers the Hot Wheels TC ensures that the concept is more show than go, but you probably had that pegged from your first look, anyway.

Ford E-Series chassis cabs and cutaways to survive mass Transit onslaught

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

In March 2013, Ford announced we'd be getting chassis cab and cutaway versions of the Transit. Since incoming Transit vans will soon be rolling over the grave of the E-Series van, it was assumed that all E-Series models would go six feet under as well. According to a report from PickupTrucks.com, however, that's not the case, the report claiming that the highly modifiable E-350 and E-450 chassis cab and cutaway versions will continue being produced in Avon Lake, Ohio "at least until 2020."
Being decades old, the be-cabbed E-Series platform has found its way under an army of heavy-duty shuttle buses, work truck and ambulances. Ford spokeswoman Jessica Enoch verified the production horizon, telling Autoblog that the particular E-Series configuration "are a higher GVWR than the Transit chassis cab and cutaway (available this summer), which is more Class 2 and a new segment for us." So there you have it.
