We have a 1979 ford bronco ranger that was just pulled out of storage that was being built as a mud truck. NO TITLE! has had everything rebuilt and then put away in storage. rebuilt ford 460 and rebuilt c6 trans. new gears in the rear and possibly the old set that are like new. I do not know what gears are in the rear. there are 3 new tires and 2 of them are mounted on rims and on the truck. suspension is all new. if its not on the truck it is possibly in the back. the doors are good the fenders are good. has a bad driver quarter but also has a replacement. front windshield is good. has bumpers and grill in the back of the truck. parts only truck. I do not know a lot about the truck just that it was abandon at the company I work for years ago and has been sitting inside since. tire size 35 x 12.50 R15. Intake casting number D9TE-DA, Engine Block D9TE-AB, 4 wheel C11415. Ford's Simple Suit Makes You Feel Like A Drunk Driver
Tue, Mar 25 2014We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. Alan Mulally talks about why Ford's Falcon had to die
Tue, 20 Aug 2013When Ford made the decision to end production of the Falcon sedan and Territory CUV in Australia, it wasn't a popular move Down Under. The large, four-door Falcon had been in production for 50 years, and while Ford has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australian market, it's understandable that some people still aren't all that crazy about the Blue Oval's decision.
Speaking to CEO Alan Mulally after Ford's Go Further event in Sydney, Australian site Go Auto reports that the decision was not one made lightly, and that the automaker is doing everything possible to respect the Falcon and Territory's "stakeholders." It's an interesting piece that shows a softer side of a corporation, while demonstrating that Ford is doing everything in its power to make the end of production as smooth as possible for all parties.
