Up for auction is a 1976 Ford Bronco Half Cab. The bronco has 52,000 original miles and has been well taken care of. The truck runs and drives great and is a blast to drive. It does have lockers in the front and rear but i dont know anything else about them,like the manufacturer or ratio. The bronco was owned by a older couple that owned a large ranch and they have sold the ranch and did not need the bronco anymore. I purchased the bronco to do a full body restoration and have gotten into a situation were i am not going to be able to do this. I have been through this truck from one end to the other and replaced or repaired a lot of items. The truck has some of the rust that older bronco's have, like around the window frame.the front of the hood,etc. The truck has been repainted but do not know how long ago and i dont think it was done by a professional painter. A little body work and a fresh paint job would make this bronco a show stopper. There is no rust on the fame at all as i have went from front to rear on a creeper looking for any rust and it is clear of rust as far as i can tell.I have started putting my touches to the truck to get it ready to restore but as i said, i am going to have to sell it due to some unfortunate happenings. I have been looking for a older bronco that was in good shape for a long time and this one fit the bill and really hate that i am having to sell it. Please ask questions before buying and i will do everything i can to give you any more information that you need. Ford Ka Concept shown in Brazil, could enter production by 2014
Wed, 13 Nov 2013The Ford Ka (pronounce it like a Bostonian saying "car") is the Blue Oval's sub-Fiesta offering in a number of markets that aren't North America. It's been a staple in Europe since it launched in 1996 and in South America since 1997, where it's enjoyed quite a bit of popularity as an affordable, efficient city car.
The European and South American models grew apart over the years, until Europe ended up with a Fiesta-inspired car and Brazil retained a more evolved version of the original Ka's styling. With this Ka Concept, which is really a concept in name only, Ford is previewing a Ka not just for the European market, but as the brand's new, global small car. With city car sales expected to grow dramatically in coming years and the ever increasing price of fuel, Ford's move to get a new, competitive car into the market on a global level isn't surprising.
Wearing Ford's new, familial grille, the Ka Concept features the same crisp, sculpted sheetmetal that's adorned the Fusion and Fiesta. Developed in-house by Ford Brazil, a production version could launch by 2014, according to Ford's press release. It's unclear what engines will sit under this car's hood, although we'd bet the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Fiesta will be available at some point.
Honda giving away free Civics in Forza Horizon to celebrate launch
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Just a friendly reminder from Honda: The Honda Challenge Pack DLC is now available for Forza Horizon. To reward you for the trouble of pressing a few buttons on your Xbox controller, you'll get the 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, an HPD Rally Fit and a 1986 Honda Civic Si Coupe in your garage, and you'll get them free. The event of the new DLC has also kicked off a photo contest that will reward someone with an Xbox 360 console wrapped in a Honda Civic Si theme.
Otherwise, the word "Challenge" keeps coming up because of the chance to run an online race against IndyCar driver Scott Dixon. The track for that digital throwdown has already been decided by Xbox players who voted before January 8. Yet it's not too late to hop into the Honda section in Xbox Live and lay down a time fast enough for a shot at the title "The Driver That Shellacked Scott Dixon," and meeting the man in person.
