List for sale is a 1976 Ford Bronco. Vin tag reads- U15GLB03485, W.B.-092, color-H, type-U151, Body-TU, Trans-G, Axle-B8J. Let me start off by saying that this Bronco is 37 years old, and for the most part is unrestored  having work done to it as needed. With any unrestored vehicle of this age there will be items that could be improved on. Please understand that this vehicle is not being listed as restored , but rather a good honest Bronco that has not been cut up or wrecked. The mileage of 76,053 is thought to be correct, and having four owners from new. The Bronco shows that it has been well cared for by all of the owners. Having been repainted on the outside only some time ago, the paint shows some light chips and scratches that one would expect from a vehicle that is driven. All of the glass is in very good condition, window seals show signs of age as does other rubber related parts. Tires are Toyo M/T 31-10.50-R15 LT and are brand new, wheels are a chrome steel wheel, center caps show signs of age. The bottom of the Bronco is what you would expect from a unrestored vehicle. Rubber mounts, frame, floor pans, suspensions and exhaust system all show signs of age. But are not damaged due to rust or wrecks. Door bottoms, tailgate, rockers, fender lips, hood, and pinch welds are all in good condition. The only rust on the Bronco is a small spot on the drivers side behind the front tire below the lower door hinge, And a small repair where the passenger toe board meets the floor board. Engine bay is free from damage and shows a no hit front end. All stock parts seem to be present and are all in working condition. Lift off top is in very good condition with no sign of damage, lift gate is in nice shape and works as it should. Over all the Bronco is in very good condition for being 37 years old. And from being in Idaho, it has saved the body from damage due to rust. If you are in the market for a early Bronco, please take a look at this one and compare it to others listed for sale. It is a good solid vehicle that can be driven and enjoyed while doing minor upgrades. Please email with your questions, The bronco is for sale, and I will end the auction early if a deal can be put together on a purchase price.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.

Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger

Thu, Nov 27 2014

Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.

Ford, Ram in heavy-duty towing spat

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

Every pickup truck commercial has the brand trying to convince us that its model is the biggest, brawniest vehicle on the block. But Ford and Ram appear ready to really throw down the gauntlet and scrap over the towing figures for their heavy-duty models, and it could potentially end up in court.
The issue revolves around what it means to be best in class. Ford claims that its 2015 F-450 (pictured above) has a max tow rating of 31,200 pounds, compared to 30,000 pounds for the Ram 3500 (right). However, both companies market these heavy haulers as having the top towing in their class. According to Automotive News, Ford is threatening legal action if Ram doesn't back down.
The situation isn't as simple as just comparing the numbers, though. First, the two companies calculate their towing capacities differently. Ram adheres to the SAE J2807 rating, while Ford uses its own internal system. Although, as the company introduces new models, they are certified using the SAE standard. "When an all-new F-Series Super Duty is introduced, it also will use SAE J2807," said Ford to Autoblog in an emailed statement.
